You are missing packages

Hi all. I am running the Steam version. I updated to the latest version and started the sim OK, aircraft running on the ground. I rebooted and now when I try to start it says “You are missing packages that are essential to run Microsoft Flight Simulator. Please update the application and try again.”

How on earth do I fix this? I cannot get past this screen. Any help greatly received.

Delete the in game panel metar , in your community folder …

It will then be all working again ..

This happened to me. I removed my Flightsimulator.me VR panels and the error message is not happening anymore.
