Wait some weeks, the ice is not yet thick enough

You can disable the Crash and Stress in the assistance setting. That should solve your landing on ice problem.
which aircraft? Over the weekend I landed and took off from ice covered lakes at Teton and Yellowstone without problems in the Savage Grravel. Maybe the big wheels helped or the aircraft config is setup properly for such conditions. Well okay I did crash once when I let the aircraft nose over cause you still get bumped around a lot more than on ground but that was it.
I did notice Jackson Lake was completely frozen over while Yellowstone Lake had about 1/4 of it unfrozen. Maybe there is some ice thickness that is applied, although since it’s impossible to tell I don’t see why they’d do that. If it’s frozen it should just be landable

Same here: always “sinking” into the water when trying to land on frozen lake with ski plane
