I’ve been kind of kicking your comment around in my head a little. Although for many, intuitively your comment bears consideration, for me at least it was not the case. More later…

The following is a list of all the aircraft (that I can remember) that I’ve flown in as a passenger in approximate chronological order:

Martin 404, C-54 (DC-4), C-123, C-133, B707, B727, DC8, DC9, B747, L1011, Shorts 330, Beech 99, ATR 72, DHC 7, B737, B767, B777 and some unknown Airbus models. I have also flown on several choppers that I can’t identify.

Guess what? Perhaps I am the odd-ball, but I haven’t purchased nor do I fly any of those default aircraft in the sim. I’m not a pilot, either!

My love affair with aviation began in the early 50s when my dad first began taking me to the air base to watch the planes take-off and land (DC3s, P47s, F51s). It later developed into scale plastic modeling, balsa wood control-line modeling, 4 - years in the Air Force and now simming. It has essentially been a life-long love affair AND hobby.

My list this month based on flight time

  1. Aerosoft CRJ V2 (CRJ 700) been flying this ever since I learned how to use the flight fx Cessna citation fms

  2. Inibuilds NAMAC YS11 been more fun than the Saab 340B

  3. Flight FX Cessna Citation x Been doing some random flying with this jet and enjoying it

  4. flight fx vision jet, I love flying this because it is a smaller light jet

  5. default 737 max 8, been having fun flying this but stuck with only the max 8 platform :frowning: (I really want to fly the max 10 variant to see why airlines are ordering that one instead of the 9)

  6. Fenix a321/a319 been flying both their a321 and a319 because I love both aircraft

  7. Flight fx vision jet Been enjoying the vision jet after finding out the emergency parachute button works which was an awesome surprise and the systems are incredible too

  8. Cowan Bell 222UT been my favorite helicopter to fly because I love flying big turbine helicopters now

  9. Beechcraft g36 my favorite GA in the game

  10. Beechcraft c90, been doing random flying in this to learn it but it’s really fun having not the main king air 350 to fly

I’m frustrated about the Marketplace situation as all Marketplace Comanche owners are but the Comanche is STILL my number one aircraft, even given its outdated state.

Well, here we are again. Another month is over half-way to completion.

This time I am ahead of schedule, for a change, and I actually submitted my “Top 10” before anyone else, albeit by accident… :rofl:

Anyway, I think there might be a surprise or two in the November submission.
I just bought the J3 Cub on sale - a great deal, presently. I also bought the Echo19 C172 sound pack!

I know. Something has obviously gone haywire in the noggin… And get this - I have my finger poised on the trigger for the Carenado C172. There are a couple of issues I have seen noted in reviews, but it could still happen.

So next month will tell the tale and might be shaping up to becoming a real shockeroo, from this lowly simmer!

Keeping an eye on the upcoming BSQ Baron Pro though as an alternative to the super modern DA42 and also on the upcoming SystemPulse 2024 Version of the Kodiak. :slight_smile: Unfortunately there seems to be a significant delay with the latter.
