Honestly have so many cool planes right now that it’s hard to give a top 5 or 10. I wanted to give a newer list as I’ve had more time and come down from my Bonanza high and I’ve been thinking hard about which planes I’m most likely to choose (long term) among each type of aircraft.
No particular order:
- SWS Zenith CH701 - fav XSTOL plane, tri gear makes it super easy too, land and take off anywhere.
- FI Spitfire - favourite warbird, that sound!
- Milviz Corsair - close runner-up warbird, very well modelled.
- Black Square Bonanza A36 - fav single piston GA until A2A arrive
- DC3 w/ improvement - fav vintage airliner
- Carendao Beech 18 w/ improvement mod - fav vintage twin piston
- SWS Kodiak 100 - fav single turboprop
- Beaver - fav floats plane
- Carenada WACO - favourite bi-plane
- Jenny JN-4 - favourite early era plane
I’m trying to decide what to buy for the following:
Twin turboprop GA (possibly BS King Air)
Twin piston GA (thinking 310R, 414, or BS Baron - leaning toward 310R)
Rotorcraft (probably will grab GotFriends Mini 500)
Fighter Jet (leaning toward IFE’s F35)
STOL taildragger (I keep eyeing up the Kitfox)
Special mentions, for good planes, if not my favs:
AN-2, Caribou, BF-108 Taifun (flying, not so much ground handling), P-38L, and C152 JPL mod.
