That’s some mean rotary skills you showin off there mate!
hehe, yeah I try
Actually, it started doing that to the right as soon as I first spawned in (engines on for my first go!) coz I use a FF stick, so it’s never really in the centre when I let go.
There is a “reset cyclic centre” button binding that might help. Trim reset also as soon as you spawn too ( not trim release! )
I’ve flown the 160 a bit in storm Ceiran with the afcs all out, it’s actually pretty ok.
Submitting the monthly list on the 5th of the month.
This won’t change.

No changes:
- Tiger Moth from Ant`s Airplanes
- C310R from Blackbird
- ATR 42 600 from Asobo (Hartmann) > Unistalled it is a bug nest.
- DHC.2 Beaver from Asobo (Milviz) (since many months I don’t fly this plane)
I’m waiting the piston Duke from black square.
I just realized I need to make a new list for this month so here is my new top-10:
- FSReborn M500
My new GA-exec extraordinarie plane. Amazing product released without bugs and a lot of details. - Flybywire A320NX
- Flysimware C414 Chancellor
- HPG Airbus H160
The H145 was the first and only heli for MSFS to correctly implement force trim, autopilot and stabilization systems. Time passed and all the other devs are still waiting for Asobo to do the job they should do while HPG released another Heli with all the systems a good modern Heli should have. - Asobo Longitude C700
- Flight FX Vision Jet
- JustFlight Fokker F28
WHERE IS THE AVRO? - Blackbird C310R
- A2A Piper Comanche 250
- FlyingIron P38
I also have my new “hall of shame”:
- Orbx P750 STOL and Orbx Blackwing 635
Both abandoned after release, both had potential and in the case of the 750 a lot of promises were made on release and not a single one of them was fullfilled. You are going to lead this list for a loooong time Orbx. - Inibuilds Mitsubishi Mu2
This was an absurd release, flight model is wrong, interior textures are not very nice, sound is not very good, systems are mostly wrong. Anything else? - PILOT’s Dash 7
I’m not sure what SWS did and what PILOT’s did but it took just too long for this to be the end product. Sound is wrong, All systems are dummy, all of them. No PMS50 on release, spoilers logic wrong, engine starting is scripted and engine numbers dummy. Yes the flight model is good but still a disaster release. - Blackbox Shorts 330-360
I really like your products guys and this has a lot of variants, great sound and all systems are very well simulated but the graphics and the textures, specially in the interior are below freeware quality. Sorry. - Azurpoly Transall 160
You finally made it to the hall of shame! Released with a lot of promises about new things that will be added, and then nothing. I just hate when this happens.
Yeah it’s magnificent, isn’t it?
I learned the start-up with the direct hands-on help from the expert AlpineBravo (thanks mate!!).
It’s really not complex but I learn better when being shown and I missed a couple of steps at first but I’m confident with it now and I am loving it. Before that I had 3 new engines for 2 flights. This executive flight business is expensive!
Very very slick product, excellent in every way. Landing are super satisfying to the level of 414 and “almost” Comanche haha. Reverse thrust works beautifully. Love the extra features (my “friend’s” Ferrari) and inside is superbly modelled. Overall quality is just exceptional. I have done about 10+ flights already with some fairly long legs (for me)… it just pushes you to want to. As I’ve said it’s really not the sort of plane I usually fly but this is gonna rack up the hours, I know.
Shame it’s hit your shame list… I got it also, as I had my eye on it for so long I was compelled to pay the OTT price anyway.
I know what you are saying about the textures but I don’t think it’s that bad. For sure it’s not to the highest standards (100% agree) but did you really expect that from Blackbox? It does the job, and the main area you look (forwards) is pretty fine. If you look down at the seats, or behind at the dividing wall / fire extinguisher or in the cargo / passenger cabin then yea, it’s lower res. The rest is more than acceptable IMO. Quite flat, a bit too “plain” tiled textures for sure but it does not bother me to that extent.
It’s not a top 10 for me that is for sure but it was never going to be. Still it’s a unique thing to fly, looks good (even GREAT from outside) and handles like nothing else. Closest thing I would say is the BAe146 (obviously a lot slower, but that kind of weight and flow).
I have had quite some fun with it already. Tried to land at Saba and Lukla… did not go well!! It’s not EXACTLY STOL! Feels a lot faster than you actually are - quite deceptive coz of the sheer bulk of it. I felt I was doing 160 when it was actually 90 on approach. Could not really go slower without stall but it was FAR too fast to have any chance of stopping on those short “one-chance” strips But I will try again
Yes the M500 is fantastic. I think it is better than the Comanche in some areas. I liked flying the TBM930 with the WT G1000 but now this has completely replaced it. The plane itself is not the fastest and it doesn’t really have the best range but I think it is a great luxury GA plane and the simulation is almost perfect.
About the 330-360 I’m very frustrated, the sound is incredible, we got all the variants and every single system is simulated, the flight model is amazing as you mentioned. And that’s why I’m frustrated with the textures and graphics, with a great cockpit this could be one of the best add-ons for MSFS and is not that the textures are a little simple or the polygons are a tad low I think they are really below freeware quality. Maybe I will get used to those or maybe somebody will find a way to redo the cockpit.
Patience my friend. Azurpoly has been teasing an update with droppable paratroopers and vehicles plus fully programmable flight plan etc.
The year old Magister had an update the other day so I don’t think it’s fair to put Azurpoly in the same group as abandonware Orbx or FSX quality Pilots.

I don’t think it’s fair to put Azurpoly in the same group as abandonware Orbx or FSX quality Pilots.
Totally agree and I’m ready to remove them from my hall of shame I just wanted to send a message that we are waiting for those updates :). Like: Where is my Avro?
I know Azurpoly will deliver what they promised in the same way I know Orbx won’t.
Yeah it is not actually that fast at lower altitudes but has so much excess power (hence my engine … umm … repairs) that it is quite a handful and feels very capable. You need to treat her well!
I totally understand and agree with Raul’s decision not to have zombie passengers… but even so I would like some folk in the back when I have added passengers! Maybe one day.
That is a bit of a blanket statement to be fair mate. Some freeware is clearly of payware quality - and we have talked about this a lot here in the past! Comes down to the skill of the artists involved, not the cost to end user. The JPL/WB 152 is outstanding and of course a lot of the GF stuff is free but done by the same skilled hands as their paid products.
Anyway I repeat, did you really expect top quality PBR from Blackbox?
My updated Top 10:

My new top 10
-
Just flight Fokker 28 I’ve been really enjoying this aircraft lately and I think I found an airliner I’m definitely going to over fly
-
Just flight BAE 146 Enjoying this regional jet along with flying some routes
-
Asobo ATR 42 600 this has made the most of my regional flying time
-
Latin A319: the a319 is on of my favorite airliners to fly on IRL
-
Aerosoft CRJ 700 great regional jet but not the 200 , if someone dose the CRJ 200 it would be more used than the 700
-
Redwing Constellation more fun features than the PMDG dc6
-
FBW a320 I was having fun with JetBlue liveries I found for it
-
DC3 with enhanced mod great aircraft
-
inibuilds p40 my favorite warbird right now because I only have right toe breaks working on my rudder pedals so I can’t use the spitfire due to my rudder pedal problem
-
Boeing 307 i use it as a 4 engine GA more than an airliner
Ouch. How do the textures compare to BB’s Islander?
A low altitude trash hauler is right up my alley, especially given its real-world cargo routes in some of my favorite areas to fly. Think I’ll give it a pass for now, unfortunately.
I would advise you to get it anyway, it is really really a great plane.
Textures are probably in the same level of quality as the Islander but the cockpit resolution is probably lower in several areas like posts, frames, seats, etc.
Definitely a Blackbox plane, a little startling to look at ( some PBR map work will deal with a fair bit I think ) flies really nicely, although until I can get my actual pilot anywhere near one ( and if she remembers given how long it is since she even saw one ) I’ve no idea if it’s anywhere close to the real one. The Islander seems about right other than takeoff/landing issues, so it’s probably pretty close.
Was happy to help mate!
It’s really not bad at all. Better than Islander a bit I think. I’m not here to change anyone’s mind (everyone can have their own opinion and make up their own mind) so I will just leave some cockpit screenshots if you’re interested.
The biggest “shame” for me is the price. It was a bit hard to swallow as the 7 variants are not really THAT different to each other, but hey ho.
Wish my cats bum wasn’t cut off
And one from outside for good measure!
With regard to texture. I have in the past spent thousands of hours developing liveries for various older sims. These days I occasionally mod a panel for my own use but no longer really have time to produce libraries, especially since more complex liveries require blender not just Photoshop.
Back in the day, using stuff like 3DMax, the polygon count was critical and 3D models had a lot of flat panels. Part of the skill set back then was to take a perfectly flat plain panel and texture it to add surface imperfections and 3D looking items like deep scratches, seams and rivets.
More and more these days you see newer devs relying entirely on the 3D model for this sort of thing and if a panel is perfectly flat in the 3D model that is what you also get in the game and if things like scratches are attempted they look like they are drawn in 2D with a marker pen.
It is a shame to see the older skills, developed over decades, disappearing.
