This is what I get today when trying to launch MSFS. I guess it’s related to the latest WU but how do I get past it?
Clicking the download icon to the right of the error message does nothing.
Hi, have you tried restarting your PC?
I’ve had this issue with other games and a restart usually fixes it!

I just left it there and did something else for about 10 minutes and it loaded MSFS.
I think it’s downloading but it’s not showing any progress of the download.
I’ve had that error since yesterday midday and finally as of this morning uninstalled everything and will have to spend time reinstalling the game and associated programs from scratch, probably over a few weeks.
Was getting partway through downloading a 2.1GB(ish) update then errored out, culminating in not even being able to redownload. Cancelling the download uninstalled the game, so now we’re off to a fresh start over the next few weeks.
(Note: Tried all the usual troubleshooting of logging out of MSStore, Xbox, resetting the store, etc etc). Seems to be a common issue.

The issue sorted itself out after I installed a Windows update and after a couple of restarts of my computer. One apparently wasn’t enough.

Glad you’re back in action. I spent the time starting from scratch but due to copying some larger things over as backup (mainly AIG traffic), it was relatively quick (other than slow main package install times due to server loads) and now lean restart into the sim that probably cured some “where should I fly today?” addon bloat. One good thing about MSFS is it saves control profiles in the cloud.
