Your thoughts about Vision Jet?

What are your thoughts about Visual Jet? I like it very much, but it’s like riding a wild horse.. She has her own will and willl tune plane’s trims and use throttle as she wants  It’s sometimes very difficult to agree with her

It is a Very Light Jet, VLJ, by way of classification. Like all jets, light to heavy, it needs to be flown by the numbers. While it benefits from a great deal of automation to make it safe for an owner/operator to fly single pilot, it nevertheless is a jet that must be flown following checklists, procedures and within its rather narrow performance envelope due to having just enough power to fulfill its mission.

I’ve found it actually quite docile, what do you mean it tunes trim and throttle? Are you using auto throttle and autopilot? It’s probably I e of the best flying and most well sorted planes in the sim

Always loved it since owning the FlightFX version back in Jan 2024. Easy to fly. Fantastic views. The thing that stops me using it more is its relatively slow speeds and climb rates vs bigger private jets.

I don’t know if there is something wrong in my controllers, or if I haven’t read all the instructions  It has happened many times that when I’m flying normally at half-throttle some thousand feet above ground, elevator trims are suddenly maxed up automatically (nose up), and have to be manually set again to correct level.

Could be a control conflict somewhere? Are you using multiple controllers? A keyboard? Mouse? Yoke? Throttle?

Don’t know, maybe… I’ve checked all control mappings and they are ok. I’m using keyboard, mouse and Thrustmaster HOTAS. And I’m flying in VR mode so using also Quest3 controllers. This is not a big issue and actually quite funny when it happens  This issue has not been happened when using autopilot, and better to use it in longer flights.

Make sure you’re not getting too slow… The vision jet has underspeed protection that will activate auto throttle, set TO/GO power and pitch the nose up to prevent a stall. That would be the only reason I could see that happening. Otherwise if you’re just flying around keep it above 150 to be safe
