YouTube Pilots

For all things MSFS 2020, I follow British Avgeek. His YouTube channel, https://youtube.com/britishavgeek, is fantastic. Loads of tutorials on flying different aircraft in the sim along with Vatsim tutorials, live events etc. Check him out! If you are into MSFS 2020 and VatSim, I highly recommend it.

Also British Avgeek has a very active discord. Its well organized and very interactive! Go check it out.

Missionary Bush Pilot is my fav, great guy mostly flying turboprops in Papua New Guinea, between some of the most challening airstrips

I think you meant to say they are not airline pilots ?
…because they are real pilots (as you pointed out they have at least a PPL)

A great general Aviation.

A very funny General Aviation channel.

The Tony stark of experimental aircraft . A genius who makes me want to get “back to work.”

He’s not a real pilot either

There are a few youtubers or twitch vatsim pilots that organize huge conga lines and I cannot figure out who it is. Anyone have any ideas who it might be?

Missionary Bush Pilot, stevo1kenevo and Matt Guthmiller and can’t forget Mike Patey and his build of Scrappy.

Not everyones cup of tea, but have a look at Tucker Gott. His “Flying my paramotor to McDonald’s” video is his most popular.

BTW, anyone who is reasonably fit can learn fly one of those in a couple of days in an unregulated environment (OK, you need to know a couple of rules). The kit is pretty cheap too and you can still get to fly above the clouds.

Definitely 320 Sim Pilot, he’s relaxing and instructional.

Thank you
I am also a flight simmer, find FS 2020 amazing.

Mike Patey is my absolute favorite out of all the pilots who post on YT. He is an absolute gift to aviation. His enthusiasm and work ethic are legendary and you learn life lessons also watching his stuff.

For example when Draco crashed he IMMEDIATELY posted a video saying he screwed up. He shouldn’t have tried to depart in those ferocious winds. But he didnt blame the weather or ATC or anyone he totally owned his mistake and won even more respect.

For anyone reading this if you are not familiar - he builds his own planes from scratch. As in from SCRATCH. He designs the parts in Solid Works (professional 3D CAD) then sends them to CNC machines to fabricate the parts. Hes also a master at laying up carbon fiber. Amazing guy and one of the nicest people on the planet.

Wouldn’t call it a YouTube pilot, but the YouTube channel of the Air Safety Institute has tremendously good content, especially their webinars.

Glad to meet you here, I love your channel… I often try to look in MSFS for the small strips you’re using, and most of the time find them, MSFS is great for this.
But landing / taking off from there is nowhere as scary as watching you do it for real.

Nobody mentioned Premier 1 Driver yet?

FlightDeck2Sim is a youtuber (also a real 737 captain) that has Alpaca Airlines and he will do that on VATSIM. Talking about 15-20 (and more sometimes) will join him under Alpaca Airlines and fly with him. Those VATSIM ATC are superstars handling his streams!

Would love to see you also on this Channel!

For the German audience, I can recommend:

Both real pilots, both streaming MSFS and X-Plane.

Plane Old Ben; good perspective on flying in the UK.

And DutchPilotGirl. But probably for the wrong reason…:flushed:
