4 tickets sent in the last 3 weeks. Not one single reply. There is not support for this software.
I’ve had replies very quick in the past.
I think it’s worth remembering that they have been flooded with requests since SU5. They have a lot of work to do. Have faith in them!
I understand they’re busy…but 3 weeks??
I always thought Zendesk was just to report issues to Microsoft/Asobo and not to ask questions.
Maybe I’m wrong.
If you have problems my safest bet would be to ask it at Avsim or flightsim.com
(you need a strong stomach for Avsim, but a lot of knowledgeable simmers)
They deleted one of my reports. Completely gobsmacked, at least reject the request and inform me. But no, instead, it vanishes.
Why do you need a reply?
Assuming they are bug reports, your job is done. yes?
It would be nice to get an acknowledgement at least
They offer support. They’ve helped me in the past. What else can I do?
It says, “Submit a request” as well.
What was the status of your reports?
Never got a reply, human nor auto.
But they will have a status. It may be either “Open” or “Solved”, something like that.
Was it worth their time to actually say anything about it. I mean if it was something unimportant they might not say anything.
There’s no context for this post. Other than no support.
Can’t run sim most of the time was the biggest issue I outlined to them.
Ah okay that’s important for sure.
Id read up on the forums.
Put your sims settings at the default
Try that.
If it’s a ms store copy instead of steam
Make sure that the store didn’t mess up the files.
What’s making it crash?
I’m having no luck with Zendesk either . I asked them to tall me what exactly triggers this error log file each time during FS2020 boot-up screen:
builderlogerror.txt
They refused to give me the reason. Just gave me the usual blah blah line-to-take (ie empty your Community folder; re install any DLC etc.), … and then marked the issue as “Solved”. w.t.f.
That log file has come up a few times in the past:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/search?q=builderlogerror.txt
I guess it comes down to
* Neither Twitter nor Zendesk respond.
* twitter points all people to Zendesk (!?)
There is no support, period Many folks in the forums help but official support is sometimes needed. With my issues there’s nothing I can do. I have no recourse but walk away since it’s unusable
Thanks Microsoft. Par for the course.
Unreal
So what were your issues? Have you opened a thread on the forums to see if someone from the community can assist?
Crashes most of the time…C700 issues…a320FBW…etc. Was troubleshooting in forums for last 2 weeks.
I uninstalled aftert SU5. After hotfix 2 new Win install…new sim install.
What about default aircraft? Do they work? I’ve read something about a development version of the A320, but as part of the diagnostic process I would suggest a shortish flight in the default Cessna, with no Community mods installed at all.
If things are as bad as you suggest you really need to confirm whether this is the sim itself, or 3rd party stuff hanging off it. Plus you don’t really have a lot to lose at this point, so its worth confirming.
