ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

During SAR missions in my own company with the Zlin Norden, whenever I extend any amount of flaps at any speed below the white flap extension arc, I get a notification that I exceeded max flap extension speed.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Happens every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load into a SAR mission in the Zlin Norden.

  2. Before landing, extend flaps when inside white airspeed arc.

  3. You will get an aviator performance notification of max flap extension airspeed exceeded.

While it’s not specified on the airspeed indicator, there are speeds which you should not exceed that are specific to each flaps setting. I’ve found that I only get this warning in Career if those values are exceeded. They can be found here:

This means you may be flying in what appears to be the safe-zone for flaps at 65kts, but if you increase the flaps to full before achieving 39kts (or less) then you will correctly be “dinged” for exceeding the maximum flaps speed (specific to that flaps setting).
