ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

The elevator trim resets to 0 when the AP is engaged and stays at 0, meaning it cannot do a controlled climb or descend.

  1. While in the air, engage autopilot
  2. Trim resets to 0 and never changes

• Partial.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• The AP does work, but is very sensitive and tends to porpoise. In the screenshot, the VS is set to climb at 300 fpm, which it was able to hold from 5,000 ft until I ended the test at over 10,000 ft.

• As the OP points out, irrespective of the chosen vertical speed, the elevator trim is always 0.0.

  2. Enable VS & climb rate.
  3. Observe Trim remains set to Zero.
  4. Observe aircraft ignore the set VS climb or descent rate.
