People, you keep missing the point. I’m sure the OP appreciates you posting your current load times, but the information really wanted is how they compare to the load times you were getting BEFORE the big patch…
Right, well today is the first time I have timed 24 loading with a stopwatch. That said, loading time was always so quick for me that it was frequently ready before I was (compared to waiting for 2020 to finish loading), therefore no difference between now and prior to the patch (anecdotally).
Because Asosbo said they fixed it! I continue to get bandwidth messages when MY internet is just fine. Even after I uninstalled and reinstalled after the Patch 3 release.

and once inside its more stuttery than before
Just timed it: 4:27 from double-clicking the desktop shortcut until the yellow button appears to go into the main menu. Prior to this patch, my start times were typically 3:35 - 3:55.

Nope, you are not alone. Before Fix # 3 my load time was no more than 2 minutes, now I’m experiencing 6 to 7 minutes stuck in the 6% “Loading Language,” after that another 7 to 8 minutes for the start page. This is really annoying and frustrating.

On Xbox I had the longest initial loading time with the current patch. About 5 minutes long.

I’m always around 3min from the XBOX Logo to te Start button available. Pretty reasonable IMHO for such piece of tech…
Mine loads either at the spot where the vip video starts at around 1:40 from start, occasionally at around 2:00 during the ag spray video.
After syncing my PC to internet time the first week, my loading time has consistently been 2.5 minutes, no variance. After the update, it’s anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes. It hangs up at 6% when loading language. I don’t even recall seeing the language loading before. 3.5 to 4 minutes just to get past that 6% mark. Ridiculous. I’m waiting for somebody to tell me to reinstall the sim. Why? I did nothing to corrupt anything. Oh yeah, my community folder is empty.

My load times have increased significantly after patch 3, too.
Since de(activating) a package now requires a restart of the sim it‘s also annoying when trying out things in addition to it being a strange regression in itself. I think I saw something in the release notes about additional checks to detect corrupted packages, might be related, just a wild guess.

I just tested again this morning - 4:17, so faster than yesterday.
(And then I went to start a free flight and the sim CTD’d changing livery on one of the stock sim aircraft - sigh ).

Not to derail the topic, but I’ve noted more CTDs. More on my laptop than on my high-end PC.

I’ve got the opposite with load time today on my laptop. I’ve been stuck on Activating Packages with the percentage increase just crawling.
Didn’t the patch notes state they had improved loading times? Or did I imagine things?

Yeah, it was significantly worse today. I just quit, relaunched and timed the load at 7:07 up from my original 5:16 1 day ago.
Something is definitely whack here. 7 minutes is ridiculously long.
7 minutes is coming close to a ZX Spectrum loading time. From a cassette tape.

Today initial loading took 3 minutes. I have just measured it with a stopwatch. This is on vanilla XSX Premium Deluxe version. No add-ons installed.

Loading time on MSFS 15 Minutes, not bothered.
Loading time on MSFS 2024 4 min, not bothered.
No CTD MSFS 2024 community folder filling up.
Still love MSFS Same for MSFS 2024.
My experience MSFS 2024 smoother better experience on my rig.

I WILL now apoligies now for the positive experiance I have had with MSFS 2024. However not flown any stock aircraft or Career so cannot comment. I have only ever flown 3rd party aircraft like I did with MSFS.

Before the update: typically in the 3 min 15 sec range. Did have the occasional 2:30 launch on restart.
After the update: 1:35 to 1:55 consistently. Just did a quick test: 1 min 53. It does tend to be slower in the mornings and faster in the evenings here on the Canada West Coast when I believe load on the servers is light.

Loading takes a good while in my Series S, but to be honest the main difference I noticed is how long the loading progress stays at 14%, only to blaze through the rest quickly
