Why would a 1 star mission be designed with low fuel? I have run out on several times now. I can see the challenge of a 4 star mission having low fuel loaded to make sure you optimize fuel flow or even design a fuel stop into the route. What were they thinking with low fuel on a 1 star mission?

It is believed the low fuel is a bug and isn’t supposed to be that low. It helps to lean the mixture and reduce the throttle during cruise, but more helpful is to lookup the Add Fuel binding and assign it to something. I am on Xbox Controller and assigned it to LT+RT+X.
Since the last patch I have seen reports that you can manage fuel in the Manage Aircraft portion of the mission briefing to add fuel. It was bugged before the patch and wouldn’t actually give you the fuel, it would just take your money.

Great information … I didnt know that you could add the fuel with a key bind. Also, its good know that “add fuel” under “Manage Aircraft” was fixed with the last patch. I wonder if they fixed the ability to add fuel through the EFB.
