Release Notes say it’s about Airbus 310-300, A320 Neo and PC-6. But with 120 GB it must be more?
I opened FS2020 just now and it didn’t offer any updates.
It must be some update that you didn’t download before.
My FS2020 is definitely up to date.
I play it every day, last flight ended 4 hours ago.
But wait, I had a message starting it, it said the sim didn’t end properly and if I want to start it in secure mode. Maybe that is the cause.
This is not an MSFS 2020 update. For some reason, MSFS 2020 is reinstalling itself on your system.
Well, strange.
Anyway, I’ll let it reinstall.
Are you sure it’s not downloading at a new location?

No, I’m not.
Hmm… It told me that free space on the drive it will install to is 332 GB, and that’s definitely the drive where it has been installed before.
No idea, but by the looks of it it did some reset. What does your Usercfg.opt file say for installdir?
%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache
%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages
That is the folder where the config file is located (MSStore version) UserCfg.opt at the bottom of the text file it has the install folder entry. Mine is
InstalledPackagesPath “E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator”
And this unfortunately is wrong. I had it on “F:\MSFS 2020”
Oh sorry, thought you had a mistake on the link you posted before.
Better stop the download then and change the dir. to F:\MSFS 2020
If I stop the download, will it discard what it has downloaded already?
Not sure, but you can check if the folder is empty.
