Any help apricated, hope that someone can help me in the right direction.
After a new installation on my gamepc i get CTD when changing the controls in VR. When changing it on my monitor there are no issues.
latest nvidia drivers, no mods, 9800x3d, 32gb ram, 4090
When changing settings of my controlers (winwing rudder, throttle and stick) screen hangs and i am back on the desktop.
Never had any issues with my other machine and windows 10
Enclosed my error log. I really have no clue.

You probably already know from the forum that the latest Nvidia drivers are not recommended for MSFS 2024/2020. I recommend rolling back to an older driver version, such as 566.14
Uninstall Nvidia drivers using DDU in safe mode and then install version 566.14
How to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) Guide / Tutorial | Wagnardsoft
Download and install DDU installer
Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V18.0.9.2 Released. - Wagnardsoft Forum
After uninstalling Nvidia driver in safe mode using DDU and restarting your PC, I recommend installing only Nvidia driver without installing Nvidia app.
GeForce Game Ready Driver | 566.14 | Windows 11 | NVIDIA
During Nvidia driver installation, select Nvidia Graphics Driver .
On the next screen select Custom (Advanced) and click Next .
Choose Graphics Driver, PhysX and Perform a clean installation → Next.
After installing Nvidia driver, restart PC.

Thanks. That it was mainly for onlder cards but will go the ddu way.
You think dlls is worth installing with the swapper for an 4090 card?
Until the cause of the CTDs is identified, it is not recommended to tweak drivers, msfs.
The urge to tweak is not so high anymore. Went from 5800x3d to 9800x2d and from 3080ti to 4090
so no swap dlss and preset J or K profile inspector setting?
Yep mate. Test MSFS without tweaks.

Thank you
BTW, recently, you upgraded your CPU to 9800X3D. It’s recommended that you also reinstall the chipset drivers.
Bought a complete new pc so chipsets are up to date. Thanks
You wrote that you installed Windows 11, so you need to download and install the chipset drivers manually.
Ok…installed a fresh windows 11 and updated the drivers via the msi website.
Should be ok

Could you please remind me what model of motherboard you have?
I’m on nVidia driver 566.14
ONLY AFTER GETTING THE SYSTEM STABLE do I recommend using Swapper to update to DLSS 4. I use nVidia Profile Inspector to get to Preset J (I haven’t tried the newer Preset K, but probably will.) I don’t have the nVidia App, so I don’t know whether it will also unlock those Presets.
I followed this video. There’s another bit of software he recommends for use with Profile Inspector. He’s made an updated video (this was created before the official DLSS 4 and Preset K release, but it worked great for me.)
You’re in a thread where the cause of the CTD hasn’t been determined yet, so I stand by what I said.
As for DLSS …

That’s exactly why I said what I said about NOT installing DLSS 4 until the system is stable.
As for DLSS 4. I noted that it’s working well for me on the driver you recommended (566.14)
So I’m 100% with you on this!

So also the old drivers can work with dlss? Tought that only the cuda an the lastest worked with the j or k profiles?
I’m on driver v566.14.
The latest version of DLSS Swapper lets you enable an overlay during gameplay. I see DLSS version 310.2.0 and Preset J.
The naming convention they chose for DLSS 4 is weird. 310.x.x is DLSS 4.
I can’t speak to whether either of those things are doing anything - only that the sim reports that they are active. It looks great, though, and performance is very good.
Still get ctd without warnings. Mainly when i am changing controles. Just screen freeze and back to the desktop.
Is there some kind of logging to see what goes wrong.
Never had issues with windows 10.
Any tips for me?
It feels like my controls are causing an CTD. When im not changing my controls i can fly without issues.
Is there way to completely reset your controls?
