I’m really looking forward to this. I’ve been using NeoFly off/on for a while now and I’d had tempered high hopes for 2024’s career mode. Looking at what is described in the marketing copy and what TwoToneMurphy shared on his intro to 2024, it looks significantly more detailed than I had hoped for…

[image] PathlessSpore60: Not sure why this is not done. For some it’s Asobo-defined limitations like how the aircraft cannot be amphibious, or for the A400M and C-17 that they can’t be part of a cargo company if they’re “military”, which is obviously pretty silly. For most others it really ju…

That makes sense, thanks for the reply. Luckily some developers, like Taog’s hangar, make the effort to make their helicopters career mode compatible. Stratoware is also trying, but is waiting for help from Asobo, AFAIK. I really hope Asobo will find a way to streamline that process. I think that wo…

Fully agree. I know Working Title played some part in simplifying (or at least clarifying) the Career Tool, which is the part of the SDK that aircraft go “through” to determine if they’re compatible or not. Hopefully it continues to evolve in a way that can guide developers to making their incompati…

What exactly does that mean, do you know? It’s another penalty - I am so done with this game if so! rather than a carrot we now get a stick! When will they start being fair?

[image] Pilotfirst9999: It’s another penalty - I am so done with this game if so! I think in theory it is another penalty, but that should (keyword, “should”) mean that payouts have been adjusted to be higher by default, so it would work out the same in the end. In my mind it would be: Old …

I hope you are correct Zadma, I would hate to impose a personal restriction on this game out of protest! (although I am aware it harms no one else except me) I just can’t understand the thinking behind adding more and more things that discourage folk to use this mode.

[image] Pilotfirst9999: I just can’t understand the thinking behind adding more and more things that discourage folk to use this mode. If the idea is raising the overall base pay as I think it is, I don’t see how this discourages anyone from doing anything. It’s the exact same behavior and ou…
