2024 Career Mode

they’re incompatible with Career because they don’t use the Asobo EFB.

Yes, it was in the PC-12. The explanation “sudden asphyxia” fits exactly what happened.

Yes, it’s hypoxia, above FL18/19 usually 15-20 minutes before the black screen we’re shown a brief warning (2 seconds maybe?) of low oxygen telling you to go lower, it’s easy to miss, that’d tell you right away the problem.

It’s a well known bug in the community, and incredibly, although with almost 200 votes, is not flagged has a bug in the forum by who should do it.

I must have been already impaired by asphyxia so I missed the Low Oxygen warning. But now that I think of it, I felt happy and content, almost ecstatic, while flying a career mission. That should’ve been a warning sign.

It’s flagged as “feedback-logged”, I think that means it’s being reproduced and then it gets the “bug-logged” tag. So there are eyeballs on it.

I don’t know if it’s a financial reward, but all missions paying 500k+ don’t allow to use 208 and instead I need a pc-12, pc-24 or saab.

Is there a better aircraft for Cargo Medium missions than the Cessna Caravan? This plane simply can’t handle the ridiculous winds all over the world right now, it’s very hard to land in 30-45 kts winds, and it breaks every 4-5 missions. Either the engine or the landing gear, even though I don’t fly that harshly. And the autopilot can’t keep it straight.

Is there something better? Something that flies faster, more comfortably and better at handling the Career Mode Hurricanes? And something that’s not an unflyable bugfest?

I realised last night that I could buy a Joby or something, but it’s locked. I went into the certifications and the powered lift one is “coming in an update”, so it’s in the career store along with the other drone-likes but you can’t be certified for it.

I had a go in one in free flight but had no idea what i was doing. I kinda got it to takeoff and fly around quite easily. I never actually worked out how to land it and just quit flight but those things look like they could be a lot of fun to fly for sightseeings and City VIP commutes.

So, it seems we have a new bug in Career mode which leads in a Failed Mission. “You left the Parking Stand before completing the ground handling process.”

Needless to say I did all the pre-flight checklists (chocks, pitot / covers)

Did you also handle the radio call to get passengers/cargo loaded?

For Cargo? That would be the first. Okay. Thanks. I’ll check it out.

I get 1 or 1.5 millions with the Caravan for Missions departing from Madagascar East Africa.

Ditch the Caravan or use it for passive and get a PC-12.

What can I say. I have some missions in Europe/USA that pay 505k (as stated in mission, excluding bonuses) that don’t allow me to use the caravan. I was surprised because one of them was near a field where I had my caravan yet transfer cost was like 370k wanting to pull my pc-12 from another continent. Checked the “Buy planes” option and only pc-12, pc-24 and saab were listed.

It’s good, I want an excuse to get the PC 12 instead of the Caravan anyway, was hoping it would be able to generate more revenue, and it seems, in some circumstances, that it does.

I don’t think the heavy aircraft (747, dreamlifter, etc) will be available til the heavy certification test is unlocked in a future update?

I think that for the heavy certification they are waiting for the Airbuses to be made compatible with the career mode. right now the Airbus made by Inibuilds are not compatible with the Career Mode

Anyone able to complete a 737-MAX Airline Mission? It always freezes up at the end, and on long flights, I get a massive, unplayable FPS degradation.

Is the PC-12 usable despite the pressurization bug?

yes its usable, just keep it below 18k feet

Yes sir. Just set your cruise altitude to 110 or 120 until its rectified.
