Its still full of bugs even after the new update
Will there be any announcements from Jorg and co at FSExpo-eg. next AAU and CU, July new base aircraft?
They almost always do some sort of smaller scale update for the region in which the expo is happening, so might be a Midwest US city update?
As a bonus they’ve introduced the stereotypical Minnesotan dialect into Career mode character voices - you betcha, ya!
“Not sure how much you are still following this” strikes again with the “Carenado Creator Sale” that does not extend to the MSFS 2020 Marketplace, but only provides discount pricing for the MSFS 2024 versions of these Carenado aircraft, even though they are available in both marketplaces.
Still no intention to publish release notes for AAU4? Would love to see what was changed for each aircraft.
so su5 still broken and all yall can tell us is another broken beta release is out. awesome. BUT HEY! you can give us more money and buy more 3rd party aircraft that you certainly CANNOT fly given the state of the sim! unbelievable levels of greed
Unless if your on PS5/Xbox never buy from the marketplace. I always get my 3rd party add ons outside of it. Many shady developers on there who release a product but never update it when it becomes broken. For me on PC, all my flights run fine and my add ons work as a charm.
There are several unique advantages to purchasing on the Marketplace which is why, as a PC user, I only buy from the Marketplace unless I cannot get it there - but to each their own!
Hey no issue there, I get some like it for keeping their purchases all in one place and being able to update easily, like I said, some who are new to flight simming might browse the marketplace and find something cool but it comes from a developer who is not known and literally just forgets about it, which is why I have seen a lot of posts and stories on how a lot of third party add ons from the marketplace are broken and never get fixed.
I also noticed updates for the marketplace have to go through a intake process so if something does break and need a update immediately to get it working, the update has to go through the intake process where it has to be validated and posted on the day when MS releases those updates, while buying outside, if there is a urgent update and it becomes available, you can update it right away instead of waiting for the validation process. That is one thing I do not like about the Marketplace process.
FlightSimReborn released a semi-critical update for their Phenom the day after the aircraft released. The dev fixed the issue in the morning and by the afternoon it had been published.
It seems that much of this delay time comes down to whether or not the developers themselves prioritize the testing of the product for Marketplace, and MS won’t release it until the developer has tested and approved it for release.
It’s also worth highlighting that only Marketplace products can be streamed, which offers both storage and performance benefits, and (very importantly for some users, totally irrelevant for others like yourself I’m guessing) you can only use a Career-compatible aircraft in Career mode if it was purchased on the Marketplace.
I hope Carenado will also deliver the additional avionics for the CT210N on PS5.
Still in the live built and the beta all avionics are constantly rebooting, re-aligning etc (e.g. citation longitude)… on PS5 some plane still produce low memory message and render all avionics dead… no progress in live built nor in the current beta.
And what do I see, when I read the briefing? New stuff, new fly-ins.., new whatever… A huge part of the community is grounded for weeks now and can not play at all. Where is our compensation for bug-induced unability to play for a whole month now? I am very dissatisfied with the communication and the low priority of the bugfixing. A bad beta every two weeks as we could play in the meantime. We can not. We paid for this pre-alpha-chaos a full premium price !! Only the youtube content creators with their ultra high end computers can enjoy the game.
Can’t we get a proper statement on the root cause and the way to a fix? Aren’t we worth it?
How is it broke? Genuinely curious as it’s working great for me?

okay instead of AAU5 lets do CWEU1 (Core Weather Engine Update 1). Its time, stop doing what AAA games do to sell and start doing what we all want as flight simmers in general.

The additional avionics are not Carenado’s to deliver - you’d have to speak with the developers who make them, PMS50 being the more likely one since their avionics are on the PC and Xbox Marketplace.
I agree with Arzgebird1679, we need some explenation and a timeline for a fix. Consoles are still broken…
