I supose the path results for most of us as a disapointment as we hope they will fix a lot of the weired and broken stuff … at the end it wont … maybe ?! Or they are fixed as they did with the Tobiii CTD …
But, maybe im wrong and everything will be amazing

Just FYI when a big patch comes through like this the Xbox Team have to approve it and test it, that takes time. Patch likely has been submitted but its at the mercy of that team when they release it.
If it is the same team that did the testing/approval prior to release it should be quick 
Looks like FS2020 is down now:
Something might be going on right now.
Or it is just related to get the user numbers for FS2020 below FS2024 - just kidding I do not think they will do stuff like this

probably mucking with the back end. With so many problems in 2024 fixed by resetting cloud data, I bet they’re running a bunch of scripts trying to uncorrupt people’s accounts etc. And that is probably totally separate from the patch itself, which has probably been sitting there for days, but they know they need to get any backend account bugs sorted or else they’re gonna take a another PR hit if the patch doesn’t rescue playability for a bunch of people.
Needless to say, sounds like no 2024 patch til Thursday at this point.

They were saying on today’s stream (I think it was Jayne) that the update was still aimed for today. It’s still 2:30PM in Redmond/Seattle, so who knows.|

And I wish everything ran of EST. 2 hr delays do make difference. Be it this or trying to call places in PST when they open but it’s 10 or 11am in rest of country. Hard to get stuff done before or after work when PST oriented
SeedyL was streaming some career flights today.
Microsoft released MSFS 2020 at 1am where I live (10pm GMT), so there’s a chance they’ll release it quite late.
The will they / won’t they has been a roller coaster! Sort of want to do a Fenix flight tonight but not if a patch is going to drop during it. But still, crazy that we get juicier info from comments on twitch streams than we ever do here or on Discord.
Hopeful for a patch tonight, and we’ve seen them release patches as late as 5pm pacific time before for MSFS 2020.
So still a couple more hours to go.
