I cannot get into the main menu of the sim .
Shortly after 18:00 UTC I tried to start MSFS 2020 but without success.
Sim is installed on pc and the pc is located in Germany, it that info helps to solve the problem.

I have the same problem. I’m stuck in the loading screen and can’t get to the menu. Not even after 30 minutes. Already tried 2 times. I’m also from Germany. (MSFS 2020 on PC).

Maybe some patching going on server side.
Same here in Germany. Several tries and I got in finally. Holds short of main menu.
No reason to be worried it seems only be related to FS2020, we can all move over to FS2024 now 
BTW - same for me. Cannot get into the sim.

No I cannot move to FS2024, because I have no license for it.
same here, Germany, MSFS2020 does not start.

msfs2020 loaded now after 30 mins trying!
Luckily I’m on quick resume.
I have not used MSFS2020 since the MSFS2024 release date.
I do not own MSFS2024.
Do the math……
(I’m free of my addiction and it feels great!)
(This after almost 45 years of flight simming).

Loaded 2020 just now. Five minutes. All is well in Australia. As always.

Just landed NW US all ok.
Usually I had no problems.
They occurred after the release of MSFS 2024.
From the last MS / Asobo Dev Stream I learned that they have problems with their CDN.
And I have heard that they switched resources from FS2020 to FS2024.
At least that would explain my starting problems .
