I’m looking at a build with 3x 50" TVs, I’ve seen this https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1451360-REG/next_level_racing_nlr_a010_free_standing_monitor_stand.html as an example, I’m pondering whether it’s worth trying to build something (incorporating in a desk or places to put the yoke/throttle/touch screen MFD etc) or some combo. Looking for any experience or suggestions.
I run triple 55"s. I did not want a bunch more steel so I designed my own supports that leveraged the center stand I already had. I used scrap plywood and 3D printed a few parts. Probably $30 all in for the side supports plus the $19 monitor brackets.
Awesome setup!!
Very nice looking setup. How much stuff was 3d printed? I don’t have a printer, I could maybe get a few small things done somewhere. I assume the wood is the leg & back panel? Also curious, what is your main stand?
Hi. The main thing that was 3D printed was the adapter for where the old stand meets the ones I built. I also printed the bolt and leg caps for a nice finish. The main stand was from my original RSeat setup for the driving simulator. They don’t make the stand anymore. Correct, the legs are 3/4" ply and the mounting wings are 1/2" plywood.
