500hrs in MSFS. Probably 2hrs of which trying to get an A grade in the airliner take-off training

Lately I’ve going back & doing the odd training session i didn’t get an A grade in. I’ve now done everything except the A320 take-off where i must’ve tried it at least 20-25 times.

I feel like I’ve tried everything under the sun, smooth very slow climb, smooth slow climb, smooth fast climb, climb at 5 degrees, just under 10 degrees, 10 degrees, just over etc.

I feel like I’m missing something but I’ve sat through the instructions so many times followed them to no avail.

Surely I’m not the only person that has struggled with this?

Are you using the “flex” part of the takeoff as specified in lesson in addition to the desired climb angle? The 10 degree requirement is essential, but so is using the flex power setting.

Yes, followed every instruction as required. Even watched youtube videos to make sure i wasn’t making a mistake.
