Brilliant!! I did something similar for the original AH B707 before, a “cruise control” rather than an Auto Throttle. I had to use AAO though. Yours look much better than mine!
I’m currently testing it in various flight conditions, including climbs and descents, and I’ll release it once I feel it’s reliable enough to be useful. It can also automatically adjust the compass correction rate knob during polar operations.
Small suggestion / feature request for that autothrottle add-on: the ability to select Mach numbers and/ or airspeeds that aren’t standard. I fly on VATSIM sometimes, and I think this could be a useful addition, but it would be nice to be able to select whatever speed ATC might assign during high-workload times such as setting up for an approach.
(As an aside, I’m mainly suggesting this because I’m not great at maintaining a single speed without autothrottle in high-workload situations yet. Getting there, but not quite as good as I feel I’d need to be.)
under 30000ft, Autothrottle follow IAS Speed bug. If you set speed bug to 210. app control throttle to maintain IAS 210kts.

using manual pitch control. The climb and descent segments of the video were speed up 4×, while the Mach speed adjustment segment was speed up 2×.
I’m currently testing both pitch and throttle control.
Pitch control is still quite unstable and needs more work. Throttle control, on the other hand, is already working fairly well as long as the user manually adjusts the pitch wheel.
The Polar Operation tab is also working without any issues so far.
If anyone is interested in using just the autothrottle in its current state, I can make a build and share it.
