737-100 from Scenery Creation released

Checking today’s Marketplace releases, I see a 737-100 from a company called “Scenery Creation.” It’s their only Marketplace product.

I’d love a classic 100, but there are some big red flags on the Marketplace page:

  • No cockpit shots
  • Only 1 livery shown
  • All the feature descriptions are generic, nothing about systems, details, etc.
  • Unknown developer, and if your first product is an airplane, your choice of company name does not properly indicate your expertise :slight_smile:
  • All 3 ratings are 5 stars. (So, modeler, painter, and flight model guy have rated it?)

Anyone here take one for the team and buy this? I’d love it if it was good, but unless it’s a shockingly good surprise new addition to the Marketplace I think I’ll be holding out for the Blackbird 737-200… Right now I’m getting MScenery vibes from the Marketplace listing. (At least they didn’t label it “737-100 Professional,” I guess.)

The Price alone is a massive red Flag for me personally.

Is it possible to flag addons on the marketplace, if not, why not?

Alas, I watched Cowtown’s video, and he didn’t actually purchase this, just realized the images were AI-created and flagged that.

Now I’m dying to see the cockpit and hear how it flies. :slight_smile: I didn’t even realize the images weren’t in-sim.

Just looking at the picture of this thing reminded me of the 707 that came out for MSFS.

The engines are completely wrong, the vertical fin seems to be from a 737NG. I am so impressed; NOT!

Question is how did this dev pass the checks that MS Marketing team does if devs like dfflyer can’t get a look in? Wierd :person_shrugging:

I never have and never will buy ANYTHING from the Marketplace. Buy 3rd party stuff directly that support their product.

It isn’t an option for everything. Some addons are marketplace exclusive.

I mean, y’all are dissing this and you have no idea how the actual plane is. It could be amazing and beautiful! We have NO idea.

I really hope some YouTuber drops the $30 on it and has fun with it. Heck, if I had a YT following I’d do it myself because that could be a really fun episode to do.
