I have the same issue, eventually just gave up and mapped that slot for radio controls. Nobody seems interested on developing a fix.

Same issue here

This is not a bug, in my case, just a unique binding specific to the Asobo 737 MAX 8 found here: Asobo 737 MAX Autopilot Altitude Control Binding - #2 by Zadma

I claimed my issue was fixed because it was. If you’d like to open a separate bug report specifically about the Honeycomb hardware, which seems to be the only thing that doesn’t work with this, you’re welcome to

It is not fixed and it is definitely a bug, because the command to trigger the altitude bug should be identical across all aircraft. If it isn’t consistent, it’s going to break more than a single controller - it’ll break every controller that allows for altitude adjustments that uses a single knob for multiple adjustments. There is simply no good reason to have the command be inconsistent and not just use SELECT ALTITUDE BUG and PLUS/MINUS for every aircraft.

Which they don’t, because other stock aircraft have the same issue - the 787 for example also doesn’t use SELECT ALTITUDE BUG.

It’s simply bad coding to make something that is a common feature - setting the altitude bug - function differently across various aircraft.

I don’t disagree but I think Asobo might - best course might be a wishlist item at this point.
