The OP did not give any steps, but what I did was pull the speedbrake handle in the cockpit and then checked outside with the drone camera.

It sounds like the OP may have done this through a binding with their Thrustmaster Hotas One (not 100% sure). Just to differentiate, I did this by directly pulling the speedbrake handle with my mouse.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

Only the outboards should work when moving handle to in-flight detent, the inboards only work as ground spoilers during landing or go-around.

When you arm spoilers before landing the inboards should engage after touchdown.

Brief description of the issue:

Inboard Speedbrakes do not deploy upon landing with BETA 11,work fine with SU10 in fact they can be raised manually anytime with SU10 which I understand should only happen on landing?

Yes

Which aircraft are you reporting an issue about? (Please also add the proper tag for it)

Boeing 747-8

Brief description of the issue:

I’m not sure why this happens, as it seems that only the outboard spoilers deploy when touching down with the 747-8. Spoilers are armed > touchdown > outboards deploy > reverse thrust > still only outboards deployed. The lower DU shows that the inboards are also deployed, but that’s not the case when looking outside.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Just arm spoilers, land, and you can see the issue. Or even just pull the spoiler handle to full.

I’ve only really been flying the 747 since AAU2, so since then I guess.

Found a partial fix:

Seems to be an issue with the 747_8i.xml file. With this attached file, ground spoilers deploy upon touchdown and reverse application – but this ONLY works with the Lufthansa livery I showed in the videos above. Copy-pasting this file over to other liveries turns the aircraft invisible.
747_8I.txt (12.8 KB)

Old thread, but I just stumbled with the fix which I haven’t seen posted anywhere else:

–IN:
C:\YOUR 747 FOLDER LOCATION\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_B747_8i\MODEL

–OPEN the file (can be opened with Notepad++) :
“747_8I.xml”

–Find the next lines and DELETE THE LINE I MARKED WITH ------:

UseTemplate Name=“Asobo_HANDLING_Spoilers_Template”>
SPEEDBRAKES_AND_GROUND
<ANIM_NAME_LEFT>l_spoiler_key</ANIM_NAME_LEFT>
<ANIM_NAME_RIGHT>r_spoiler_key</ANIM_NAME_RIGHT>
-----------<MAX_VALUE>45</MAX_VALUE>-----------

-That’s it, load the sim and enjoy you spoiler being deployed fully
