Replacing a 4090 with a 5090 - would it be worth it?

For anyone interested or someone thinking of doing the same thing, I can now report I’ve tried replacing my 13900K with a 9800X3D. In 2D, I did see an increase in FPS of about 10 FPS but in VR, I didn’t see any improvement at all. The FPS stayed the same and the “sensed” smoothness when flying was also the same. So with that test under my belt, I returned the 9800X3D and went back to my 13900K. Wish I would have seen the improvement I was hoping for but still feels good to have given this a pr…
