A little clarification about the Keyboard Camera Control

Hi colleagues of the Forum
I have this difficulty: I want to find on the keyboard, the keys that allow me to do this:
To see the plane in flight from any distance, angle and height and to be able to move around it in full flight.I suppose that the movement around it, should be able to be done with the cursor keys. Naturally, without using the drom, can anyone help me ?.

Without using the drone camera ? I don’t know

But you CAN use the drone in active flight.

Do this: use active pause, then go drone camera, turn and put it on a proper place… then press key C to get control, then resume from active pause. You now have control over the aircraft, the drone camera will follow the aircraft in flight. Only thing is… you can’t see your controls and gauges.

I did what you told me: I start the game–> Pause Insert (activate drone) -->I press C key, but from here, I am not able to continue. Therefore, please be more precise.

Ok

1. Go Active pause, click the >| button on the left side of the control ribbon

2. Activate the drone camera, click SHOWCASE in camera settings…

3. At this point, press key C

4. End the Active pause: click the >| button on the left side of the control ribbon (like step 1)

Now, you fly again… and you regained control. Try throttle, elevator, aelerons etcetera… everythng will work and the camera will follow the airplane. The C-key is a toggle. If you need to adjust the drone camera position, press C and move the drone camera. To regain control again, press C.

If you fancy model airplanes, put your drone on the ground, looking up. The switch off “follow mode” in the camera settings. Then press C. You now have control over your model airplane

Settings: all keys, also the keys for the drone movement, can be found in Keyboard settings.
The C key is here, the option is named TOGGLE PLANE CONTROLS

What you have done is called “perfect pedagogy”, I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you very, very much for this commendable effort.

After performing the 4 points you have listed, indeed, the drone camera is placed at a fixed point at the height of the aircraft, and the aircraft rotates its vertical axis while the drone camera remains fixed. With the + or - key on the keyboard, you zoom in on the plane.

My real wish was that the drone camera would rotate around the plane while the plane remains in flight and on course. I suppose that when I try all the options that you have described in the second part of your message, I will get what I want. The truth, it is quite laborious all these possibilities that are offered with the drone, but it is quite cumbersome to practice.

NOTE: Initially, I had a hard time figuring out the meaning of “SOWCASE”. I have the Sim. In my language (Spanis) and , both Google and “DeepL”, make a translation, which has nothing to do with the real meaning. The translation should be: “free view”. Anyway, that’s how languages are, and Google is getting better every day, but in technical language, it still lacks vocabulary.

Tell me: How do you place the drone on the ground (which you mention in your message)?

First, make sure you set active pause, then switch off DRONE FOLLOW MODE in the camera settings.

Then, move the drone camera down to the ground, let it look up to your aircraft.

If you now press key C and active pause resume, you can control the plane from where you are on the ground.
