A2A Comanche 250

If you do, buy one at a time. Purchasing one will give you like $5 off the next purchase.

Thanks, you Legend!

You crazy, like me. Thinking of doing the same

I’ve done it with a few different aircraft since switching to PC last year. Money well spent imo.

Think I might reinstall 2020 to the series x just to relive some nostalgia of my early days with the Comanche. Times were simpler then…

That Aerostar looks good, is there a thread on here for it someone could point me to if so, couldn’t see anything?

Who said that it would be better? Nobody.

So the Comanche was patched for direct customers months ago, their forum has ignored requests for information from marketplace customers. A few months ago A2A claimed a patch had been submitted to MP, still nothing, feels like A2A as utter contempt for MP customers….. fanboys and direct sale advocates need not reply

Hi all, I might be doing something wrong, but I can’t seem to import my MSFS Flight Planner flight plans into the Comanche 430/530 GPS’. Is there a trick to it, or has the functionality not been implemented yet. I can import into the Asobo tablet, but can’t “Send to Avionics”.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

This feature is exclusive to 2024 versions of avionics - the Comanche is still 2020-native.

Thanks, I suspected that might have been the case, but was not sure. Much appreciated.

FWIW the GTN750 from PMS does import flight plans from the EFB that have originated from the MSFS Flight Planner, although it sometimes takes 2/3 goes to get it right.

Just to be clear, the premium version of the PMS GTN 750 imports from the EFB - the basic/freeware version does not.

Works for me and I have the free version - might take a couple of goes but it works

Interesting, the developer of the addon has said it doesn’t work with the free version. It will accept the route if it’s created on the world map prior to the flight, but doesn’t shouldn’t do so when “Send to Avionics” is used in-flight.

As seen here on the product webpage:

I’ve only tested in su3 beta so far, not yet played in official release, but all my VFR flight plans imported into avionics automatically, from what I tried.

*And from my testing I didn’t need to send to avionics from the EFB in world map.

Interesting - how did you create those VFR flight plans? In the EFB?

Actually I selected departure/destination from the world map, in the world map EFB I just added call sign, tail number, e.g, I didn’t even click “send to avionics”

In the Comanche the route comes up on the display, it has been hit and miss, but from what I’ve played of SU3 beta and official release it’s worked so far.

I’m only talking about simple point a to point b routes here, to help with guidance, maybe you’re thinking of something different?

Most annoying bug in MSFS2024 with the Comanche:

Once you restart (sometimes even on exit) a flight, your registration number will disappear and often a white or black rectangle will be displayed instead. There is no way to fix it without changing the livery back and forth.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

I was thinking of more complicated plans & have been using https://planner.flightsimulator.com/ and then importing that into the EFB. I’ll give your technique a try, thanks.
