What and then probably have to undo it again upon release. I’m with @Jigsaw407 on this and so are almost all the reputable devs. The beta is a moving target and should be used to prove the new features and fixes. The trouble with it being such an open beta is your regular user who just likes to have the latest all the time, use it as their normal use platform and in many cases also have an expectation that aircraft will get updated to work with its flaws. Yes it’s up to the individual devs but almost always you’ll be told we don’t support sim dev builds and for very good reason.
Jigsaw and Sling have it pretty much correct.
What a peach of an aircraft! Really like the little touches such as the realistic parking brake.
Picked this one up a few days ago - but today found the pushback feature. Like everything else in this plane, implemented perfectly. Wish more MSFS aircraft offered this.
Highly recommended!
Okie dokie, all out out done done for the Marketplace folks, xbox and PC.
cool do you have an approximate release date?
Right now all released Xbox is on the same version as PC now.
oh ok sorry I thought you were talking about the 2024 marketplace release
Still shows 2020 tag but in library (had it in 2020) dose show 1.6.5 on Xbox 24’s library now.
Msfs2024 adding support app updated too.
no change on black square aircraft yet though
Because it isn’t a native 2024 aircraft.
I know that wasnt the point of my message
Oh my apologies.
Recently updated to the latest version on market place (PC)
I keep getting a failed to install message every time I attempt to install, previously I had the older version downloaded.
Edit/ fixed it somehow, just deleted, retried a few times and it’s now installed with latest update, maybe a SU3 bug
I am having a host of problems in 2024.
While doing a brief flight my engine monitor started telling me I had no oil. Oil pressure was zero. Flew normally and landed. Checked the oil and had 11 qts. Engine inspection came back normal.
Tablet is not very responsive in 2024. Works fine in 2020. Feels like the click spots are really small but dunno.
Been having the engine quit on me a few times during taxing. I’m leaned for taxi and don’t see any issues.
Finally - and this is just in general - is there a magnetic compass light?
In the latest 2024 SU4 beta (1.6.25.0) I have found the tablet to be unresponsive too, in particular it’s not possible to overhaul the engine or add small quantities of fuel - i.e. many buttons don’t work. I needed add some oil but couldn’t do it. But it was mostly working in SU3.
Not sure if this is normal, when I takeoff and climb the sound is fine but when I get to my cruise level and reduce prop the cabin noise suddenly goes a lot louder and more muffled sounding.
I’m on latest version, but it did it before 1.6.5.
I always put the headphones on in the cabin as well.
Anyone else find this or can explain it?
Is this in 2024? There is an auto sound level setting under audio. See if that is checked as it can cause weird sound levels.
This happened to me in 2024 as well. I played with the airflow knobs under the right hand yoke and they went away. Like 2024 wasn’t properly rendering the sound of the cabin heater/vent or whatever.
I’ve had that problem in an earlier version of SU4 beta but it seems ok to me in the 1.6.25.0 version.
You could try removing and reinstalling the Comanche, but bear in mind this might reset your hobbs meter and current plane wear status etc…
I flew another World Tour leg in the Comanche today, with SU4. Zero problems. I topped up the oil and fuel before my 1 hour 18 minutes flight and everything worked perfectly fine (aircraft and tablet alike).
If you place the tablet in front of another clickable screen, like a GPS, then the buttons will stop working due to a bug in MSFS 2024. At least that’s how it used to be, I don’t think that has been patched yet by Asobo.
