Are they going to release this beauty on XBOX? Couldn’t find any info on their website

impossible for now, it relies on external software, the whole plane is simulated outside of the sim.
It doesn‘t even use the sim‘s aerodynamics, it just read the conditions and injects the flight path.

So now with even a moving map in simbrief on my laptop is possible, why should it not be possible to have something like this for XBox too?

As I explained above. A moving map is just a data stream. There‘s no process running outside the sim reading from and injecting into the sim. It‘s just a window showing and moving a picture.

Fact is that data is sent back and forth from a PC to the XBox which was not previously possible as the XBox was a completely fenced system. The process/SW for the moving map runs on the PC using the navigation data sent from the XBox. On the other hand I can send data in form a a simbrief flight plan from a PC into the XBox and even into the FMC with two planes already. So there’s two way data exchange that would be the minimum requirement for having a plane like this.

It’s impossible yet?… maybe A2A simply don’t have the will to provide products for “casual simmers”…

Or to deal with the issues the console has. :man_shrugging:t2:

Yes @Ephedrin87 , in an answer to this post mine, a developer of PMDG explain very well that it’s an entirely issue of Microsoft

Yup… PMDG kind of reminds me of Don Quijote.
