[A319, A320, A321] Fenix High-Fidelity Aircraft

Do you know if they intend to sell it on the in-sim marketplace?

Yep just watched chewy’s twitch on this today. I’m def interested. Much more advanced than fbw

Yeah, I think a few people have gone the same route. Some healthy scepticism over a new dev, and probably a bit wary regarding some of the ‘less than astounding’ aircraft that’s come to town.
When I heard Blackbox711 was involved, that sealed it for me.
Ok, the fidelity and the sheer level of detail also pretty much sealed it for me, really.
And the comment about a fair consumer price is interesting.

Hint on the pricing, comment on the flight sim reddit from a while back randomly found when googling for their website.

Nice find!

I am in for a max of $120 I just bought the inibuilds A300 for £84.00 and that’s worth every penny

“A la Pmdg” it sound so french, is this guy french ?

Highly encourage everyone to watch Chewy and Amir’s twitch today. Definitely sold me. I wasn’t happy at first when I heard this project was an a320 (as I think FBW has done amazing work) but now I’m fully sold. Tons of info and shots on the twitch.

Guys, please also keep in mind that the Fenix A320 will not be available on xbox, only on pc.
FBW will have the entire xbox crowd using their A32NX so it’s definitely not the end of this beautifully made plane.

how the mighty fall…FBW Should go Payware IMHO. maybe $20

I cant see how you could use/fly a study level plane on an XBOX…but I hope to see it.

You can use a mouse and a keyboard on Xbox series X

But isn’t that application dependant? And any game in the past that has allowed this on console has failed, by the very nature of almost needing a M/KB

No, FenixSim’s FAQ explicitly states it will be a PC-only aircraft.

Oh okay, that’s too bad. But they probably have good reasons.

This (Fenix) plane will NOT be on Xbox. Developer confirmed this.

I just don’t understand why, maybe features, like GPS sat simulation and flight planning, but they are closing themselves to a huge market.

Here in Western Africa, a lot of people, fan of simulation are waiting for it, since you can get the same performances of a 2000$ PC for 300$

When you get $2000 for $300 there are always compromises and downsides…if there wasn’t there wouldn’t be a $2000 option.

Curious: why would anyone want something besides the default A320 in Xbox? I think the Xbox experience is a totally different tier and the default A320 fits that purpose.

You get it a year early, you have access to more peripherical and freeware until Asobo integrate it,

That’s it
