Brief description of the issue:

All displays in the airbus freeze when I send takeoff data from the tablet to the EFB. The EFB still works. But all of the displays on the instrument panel and FMS are frozen.

performed IRS alignment, imported flight plan from Simbrief on the EFB and FMS. Sent takeoff data to FMS from EFB.

In the brief description you said ā€œto the EFBā€ but you mean FMS (or MCDU) as you describe in the Detailed steps.

Yes on PC - SU15 using the Inibuilds A320 v2. Basic flight from East Midlands to Stockholm and I was in a steady climb and all of a sudden the cockpit controls became unresponsive.

Iā€™m on a PC with a RTX 4090 and 13900K CPU, 32GB RAM. Iā€™m using one of the 4simmers liveries (airasia 321 takeoff). HOTAS controls ok, but cockpit controls unresposive. screens unresponsive.

Sure see attached. Node horizon doesnā€™t match up with cockpit information.

Also this was spotted in the flighting prior to releasing SIM Update 15, but no action appeared to be taken.

Potentially this could be related to the MCDU as I had a problem with the flight plan as it didnā€™t show the departure, only the destination. I was climbing and trying some different options attempting to clear the flight plan and then that stopped responding and then I noticed everything else had stopped responding.

None of the controls did anything, I was able to click some switches in the overhead panel which did show the ā€˜offā€™ state, but didnā€™t appear to do anything. I couldnā€™t turn off engines.

I couldnā€™t reset to cold and dark from the panel - all my attempts to fix the situation within the means of the simulator failed.

The plane was essentially dead apart from the fact I had primary control function through my HOTAS setup which did work for a while until the plane ran out of speed and overstressed whuch ended the flight.

Hi sneaky.
Iā€™m glad to find somebody else whoā€™ve encountered the same problem as I did.
After the su15 update, I have been troubled by this problem 2 times or some. All of them were related to fmc operations.
The first time, I accidentally made a typo in a waypoint, which made it to appear on the other side of the earth. Then the aircraft stopped to respond.
The second time, I was adding a waypoint into the flight plan, then it crashed again.

I have no idea how to tackle it on the Pacific, 35000ft above seaā€¦

I hope this could help somebody determine the problem.

Yeah this one is annoying. Iā€™m trying to get the FMS stuff done now before take off but alterations are inevitable. I think the issue is tied to mistakes, so long as you donā€™t make any, then it should be fine! :joy:

Ps your english is great! Iā€™ve made so many typos in my posts that itā€™s almost illegible! :+1: :slight_smile:

Just had the same thing happen to me while trying to change my selected STAR to another one in the MCDU

Iā€™ve just had the same issue flying out of Tampa. Was prepping arrival to Miami, selected runway 12, selected arrival FROGZ4, clicked insert, went to delete the disco and everything froze.

This is not a bug to vote on.

It is a show stopper.

Clearly nobody can edit the MCDU flight plan.

Brief description of the issue:

Which selecting the ā€œActivate Flight planā€ in the Secondary F-Plan mcdu page mid Flight at FL350, every system and screen on the plane froze and all FBW system shut off aswell, throttle, AP and basically everything doesnā€™t work properly. If you adjust the brightness of the PFD and ND nothing happens. I was unable to fix the issue without restarting the flight. Please note I am using Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Was enjoying a flight when I need to change to the secondary flight plan and when I did everything froze up and I had restart it all over again. So annoying

I have the same issue. Also put in things in the MCDU and boom freezing. Kind annoying

When entering sids the fmc screen repeatedly flashed the waypoints. I moved the flight plan up and down and the flashing stopped.

Same problem, happened to me when filling out the INIT page. No buttons or switches are able to be used after the freezing. Not going to use this aircraft until someone says it is fixed.

I have the same problem here. The airplane freeze entirely, including the flight controls when I Press Initial request on the FMS to download the Sim brief flight plan. All the displays are also stuck.

Iā€™m playing on Xbox series X. However, I can still move around the cockpit but no controls respond, including the throttle.

itā€™s completely stuck, even if I quit the game entirely Restart the Xbox the plane is fully broken.
