While in cruise at FL290 from Toronto to Montreal, as I was admiring the new scenery and cloud formations, the A321 suddenly plunged and spiralled to the ground. Autopilot was on and could not be turned off. Must admit that the new scenery was quite impressive as it rushed towards me, and the cloud layers very real on the way down. Much better than MSFS 2020 (although I never had the plane fly itself into the ground with the prior version of the game).
I looked at my new MSFS 2024 stats… 25 takeoffs, 0 landings. Every free flight has failed for one reason or another. The Sim has frozen, or the performance dropped to the point where it wasn’t worth trying to continue, systems failed or locked up, the Sim screen suddenly went black and then rebooted, and in this case, the autopilot flew me into the ground.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with the Inibuild A321?
I’m on Xbox playing the Game Pass edition. I almost bought the full version prior to launch which is $305.00 CDN including tax. Glad that I didn’t.
Maybe it was the trim setting, it happened for me today doing the ifr training the plane was flying following the gps and maintaining altitude when all of the sudden not even 5 minutes I looked and my trim was 100

Perhaps. The trim was being managed by the autopilot system. Even though, having a stable flight suddenly pull up to the left, go over, and plunge is an issue no matter what the cause.
Next time it happens I’ll look at the trim setting.
It happened to me too with the A330. No chance at that moment. And has nothing to do with trim. The plane goes almost vertically towards the ground and crashes. At cruise level, without you doing anything.
With the IniBuilds airplanes, it’s always the same strange issues.
I am writing to inquire about an issue I am experiencing with the iniBuilds Airbus during ILS approaches and autoland scenarios. I have encountered the same peculiar behavior with all iniBuilds Airbus aircraft I have attempted to use.
Specifically, the LOC and GS disconnect, the FD disengages, AP1 and AP2 disconnect, and the throttles abruptly transition to TOGA, causing the aircraft to pitch violently upwards. Notably, the autoland feature of the Airbus functioned flawlessly in the 2020 simulation.
I would appreciate it if anyone else has experienced similar issues with iniBuilds Airbus aircraft. Your insights would be valuable in understanding the root cause of this problem.
