Now exactly what happens with A320 V2 in MSFS2020 happens to me with the A330 aircraft in the new MSFS2024 in Vanilla State. Displays freezing and physics disabled. Has nothing to do with ram, or route, or settings. It just happens. IniBuilds itself does not know why. A310 and A320Neo V2 had exactly the same error in MSFS2020.
At first I thought it was the Xbox. Also on the PC it seems to be the same.
IniBuilds makes nice planes, but they don’t seem to be able to solve this serious problem.
Someone posted a video here in the forum where you can see it clearly. Everything freezes and the plane feels like an ultralight. Nice to see here in this video:
So it definitely seems to be an IniBuilds issue because exactly the same always occurs in their airplanes.
I fly with the XBox Series S. In MSFS2020 I only flew the Ini A320. There it was the same as now with A330 in MSFS2024.
One thing are the black screens, which can also happen with other aircraft on Xbox. The other is this typical behavior that only the Ini aircraft have.
And there’s another issue where the systems don’t freeze, but the autopilot switches off automatically. If you’re lucky, it suddenly climbs with 10,000 fpm so that you can still save the flight manually. If you are unlucky, the plane spirals towards the ground. You can no longer save the flight.

I love the A330 and only fly A330 in MSFS2024. I have no reason to badmouth IniBuilds here. But I can’t use the airplanes, only sometimes.
While it’s common to all inibuilds planes, it may in fact be that they are using the same standard SDK code, and it’s actually an Asobo/WT issue around very likely using WASM in their planes. I know there’s been a memory issue Asobo has been tracking down with WASM programming. Maybe this is related? (Maybe not?)

Had this once when editing the flightplan towards the alternate destination in the MCDU and just now when switching to managed navigation out of HDG on the EFIS control panel.
Screen and even the mouse movement froze, sound stopped. sound returned briefly after a few seconds, then CTD…

I been struggling with inbuilds planes on my Xbox, it freezes, then they go by themselves without touching the throttle and the plane doesn’t even turn.
Plus I know they don’t make good quality content for the game when previously I remember telling them once about Gatwick Airport and the bugs on it from MFS 2020 and they don’t have roots kits to patch it.
Many folks are running msfs2024 with 32gb or 64gb & theyre getting stutters & hiccups.
Xbox series s only has 10gb ram memory.
Xbox series x only has q6gb ram.
Both far short of 32gb or 64gb.
Inibuilds are fully rendered planes with full cabin seats etc. Probably a large memory hog.
I havent had fmc screens go black anymore.
I can now do full flights.
If everything works then slowly add 1 item from list back on.
PS- what also worked for myself is to choose everythibg off on menu screen. Just choose airports then once plane loads fine at gate or on runways add full flight roughts in EFB.
Add live weather after loading at airport & not before it.
Add live traffic again after you loaded at airport.
Ad photopametery after loading to departure airport.
Many times my system crashes when everythibg turned on & load full flight in efb then sim crashes just trying to spawn at airport.
Been flying the A320 NEO v2 from inibuilds on PC. I always get the freeze on end flight. In flight I have yet to freeze, but ending the flight is always a freeze on the “zoom” animation back out. I always have to open task manager to end the program/game.
I already observed three freezes during a flight with the A320neo in MSFS 2024.
First time it happened a few days ago, immediately after activating a DIR TO via MCDU, today the first freeze occured after activating the secondary flightplan (SEC F-PLN) via MCDU, and today’s second freeze happened just while looking around in the cockpit via TrackIR.
When the freeze occures, MSFS totally lockes up. I have to kill the task via Windows Taskmanager.
Maybe you can describe your issues there and it gets recognized by the devs.
In the meantime I had the 5th freeze in the 5th flight from EDDW to LKPR (Bremen - Prague). It happened every time in the approach phase, a few miles prior landing at LKPR. Maybe it has also something to do with the scenery around LKPR.
As long as you avoid using the “init request” to grab the flight plan from the EFB in the plane you won’t freeze on exit. Apparently this applies to all simbrief planes as I’m aware of.
The airliners addon offer is still quite limited in the FS24 so I mostly fly JF Avro RJ, Fenix A320 and IniBuilds A320neo in LKPR area. I actually never had a CTD in FS24, except the freezes when quitting a flight with any IniBuilds airplane. I use Navigraph AIRACs which might be a thing to consider why you suffer of freezes in that area with an Inibuilds airplane…
