…if you click on the PFD knob, brightness changes by 1% intervals rather than 5% intervals if you use the mouse wheel. It always bugged me that I didn’t have finer control over PFD/MFD brightness. Who knew?
Congratulations… I never really bothered with the knob that much myself. I always either put it on full 100% brightness during the day, or 5% during the knight.
If only there’s some new tech that can detect ambient lighting inside the cockpit and automatically adjust the screen brightness accordingly..
I find myself using the brightness control a lot–departing thru IFR conditions to suddenly VFR on top is an example–high brightness climbing thru heavy clouds to suddenly bright sunlight on top. And vice’ versa’ on descent.
