I don’t know if this was addressed in the live stream or not- so, please forgive me if it was already addressed…
But, I’m wondering when we’ll be able to use products that we’ve purchased through the marketplace that have been confirmed by the developer as working in 2024? I spent a bunch of money on airports and scenery within the marketplace, and many of them have been confirmed to be working in 2024 by the developer. Why can’t we use these in the sim? I paid for them, shouldn’t I be able to use them?
Some airports I was able to transfer from MP to the Inibuilds app, but it was only a small fraction of what I’ve purchased from the marketplace. For instance, I’ve bought a bunch of Latin VFR airports and they’ve confirmed compatibility with 2024, yet I don’t have access to my purchases?
You have our money from these purchases, but you’ve taken back the product that was sold to us and we don’t know when we’ll get access to that content? In what world is that ok?
As far as I understand, we only have the aircraft purchased from 2020 but anything other than that it is on hold because something was breaking the sim on their end. Some addons may show currently show on your end but as disabled. This is normal and we’ll have everything once they roll out the Marketplace.
Moreover, if the marketplace takes a lot of time to open up, they should allow purchasing the premium deluxe content individually for MSFS 2024. That was promised to be released with the sim as a feature which was a major reason for me to invest in it!
How did you get those sceneries that you transferred to work in 2024? I was able to do the same for a few via Contrail, however it looks like the disabled versions in the MSFS store are still overriding my sceneries even though I see them in my 2024 community folder…
Dunno. I don’t get it. I’ve got LVFR KSAN working, shows disabled under streamed packages, transferred to my community folder… but LVFR KMSY nothing, disabled under streaming, transferred folder in my community folder… lol
Everything that I’ve manually put in my 2024 community folder (or through Contrail/Inibuilds) seems to be working as far as sceneries. I still don’t have access to a bunch though that I’ve bought through marketplace and that cannot be transferred, yet are compatible with 2024. Makes no sense that we can’t get access to them.
