Add a Classic In-Flight Menu

Who cares how old the interface is - especially if it works well and allows the user to more easily access game options, and makes for a smoother game play? I have new cars. Guess what? They still use four tires. Let the developers try working on getting the game to load in less than 4 minutes. I know a lot is going on, but still, 4 minutes! Function should trump beauty for beauty sake. Why all the huge splash screens before we get to the Welcome screen. No one needs that. And on stop of that, snippets of loading routines music bars that never finish.

If you have WSL (Windows Subsystem Linux) or Cygwin I made a script that exports all your mapping files. It is pretty basic right now, but I could improve it (and even make a bat/cmd version) if anyone wanted.

see this for usage/links to script:

export keyboard mappings (Windows WSL/Linux only) : MicrosoftFlightSim (reddit.com)

A huge request to the developers - finally make a drop-down menu when choosing a profile in the management settings… It is impossible, every time you change the type, to flip through two dozen positions in search of the right one. Moreover, the profiles are stored in a chaotic order - no logic. I really hope for a correction. Thanks.

I’m not sure what you are talking about. The management settings for what?

It would be nice to have a quick access menu from the toolbar vs going back to main menu. Ie to change livery, airport, airplane. What if I wanted to stay at ksfo for example but change my airline or plane type. So much loading to back out and back in.
