I was really hoping to fly the Twin Otter as a cargo pilot but to my dismay the only aircraft available in the medium cargo category is the Caravan.
It feels like we could use more variety in the airplane selection.

For rotor craft it’s really disappointing right now. There’s basically only the H125.
The Cabri G2 is completely absent from missions since I passed the turbine rating and then there is the skycrane but that can’t be used for most missions. What about the R44 that even has the sprayer attachment available in free flight? Or the H225 for cargo and SAR missions?

Yeah when I bought the premium deluxe edition I was under the impression that all the new planes I purchased would be included in career mode…

I completely agree. The selection of aircraft in career mode is somewhat disappointing. Additionally, the exclusion of the SR22 for passenger operations is an unfortunate oversight.

It’s extremely bizarre that even standard, included planes are not available in career mode. No King Air? No Twin Otter? Very disappointing. I hope more are added soon.

In Career Mode, we should be able to purchase any plane - including third party ones - that can accomplish the task. If somebody releases a modded A-10 that can carry spray or fire bombing equipment, I want to be able to use it.

the limited aircraft choices like this one is frustrating.
For airliners you only get to use the 737Max.
I don’t like the Max, I want to fly Airbus - i prefer airbus.
The same applies pretty much everywhere else too though. Alot of perfectly usable default planes are excluded from career which is very frustrating.

The game seems to have been advertised as fancy aircraft doing fancy missions, and that is not currently the state of the product. I would have been extremely upset if I had already purchased the Premium Deluxe aircraft.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.
It’s crazy that I cannot purchase a simple King Air to perform cargo missions.
Why then I payed for the Aviator’s Edition? To use in free flight only and not in the main game mode???

I hope and expect that all planes from various msfs editions will become useable in career mode for tasks they do in real life

And the trim doesn’t work in the h125.
edit- the trim works now, but not force trim. However auto trim can be bound and works the same way so I’m happy.

For Seaplanes, I would like to see Seaplane Specialization and missions.
Looks like there is only aerial firefighting in career mode.

same. I would love to see use of
- C172 floats
- DH2 floats
- Cub Floats
- Dh6 Floats in Passenger Config
- DC3 Floatplane in Passenger Config
while passenger float planes arent useful as airlines, this IS useful for tours/sightseeing flights, and even VIP/charter flights around tropical/remote islands.

Complete agree with all of this: let us fly the aircraft we want to fly, including aircraft in the community folder. This is a single player sandbox, don’t limit us!

Yep 100% agree, we should be able to use any default fs24 and any 3rd party aircraft either streamed or in the community folder that are suitable for the selected mission and license type. Being stuck with the same selection that ms/Asobo dictate in the career mode is not what I purchased fs24 for.
Lets hope they get all our aircraft integrated into career mode ASAP.

The game scans for planes that have the properties to meet the mission criteria, as far as I heard.
Its up to the third party devs to update the planes with those properties so they can be used.
