Add On Site Rikooo

Just to let people know that although I have used this site before without problems, I tried to install a free add on from this site this morning and the installer said I had already had it installed and would need to uninstall first before reinstalling. That’s when the brown stuff hit the fan.

Well, its wiped my MSFS install, and now I’ve spent 40 minutes transferring 200GB of addons from flightsim.to to a spare HDD so I can begin the process of reinstalling MSFS, although as it stands at the moment MSFS doesn’t see my NVMe drive that it was installed on before, although it’s seen in windows no problem.

I can see this being a long day ahead, I now have to format the NVMe drive in order to hopefully install the sim again, if it will install at all.

So heads up guys be weary

What addon?

Ground Service Vehicles

No executable with the one found here, just a simple drag and drop into your community folder…

Thanks for that, I’ll take a look when I get the sim installed again.

No problem!

Beware though, as I think compatibilty with SU5 was not guaranteed last time I looked.

I’ve had a look and it’s working ok in SU5 as far as I can tell.

Anyway the rikoooo installer did me a favour really.

After 2.5 hours downloading MSFS again, it’s actually working better than before. I’ve figured out where my problems have been with the sim lately and although it is SU5 related I can fix it as it’s down to a certain add-on I’ve installed.

I think if MSFS is not seeing hardware configured and in use by Windows is a MAJOR problem, like “STOP - Do NOT Continue!” problem. This should be resolved before proceeding.

What else in Windows is MSFS not seeing?
