Blue teal highlighting of cockpit controls and control surfaces reduces the immersion for seasoned pilots. Please add the ability to turn this off, both inside the cockpit and outside of the plane. Right now there is a 2020 mod to disable the highlighting, but this should be a native sim feature. Thanks!
Are you referring to the controls in the cockpit turning blue when cursor is moving over ?
Do you have the Xbox or PC version ?
Why did you need a mod for that in 2020? Its there to turn it off in both versions
Yes, that’s correct. I have the PC version.

This is not the same thing as just turning off the highlights because it also changes the way you interact with the controls.
Also, in 2024, selecting or grabbing the rudder from outside the plane, we don’t want that to turn blue. We should be able to disable that as well.

Yes, partially, but it doesn’t include the external fuselage highlighting in 2024.
I think for this one we need to wait for FS2024 to be released to see if that blue highlight can be deactivated (or not) for the external preflight. Also, external preflight is a different functionality than the cockpit interaction system one, so separate wish.
