I’ve been looking for a solution to the problem with the default product folder.
As with all other add-ons, liveries, and airports, I’d like to activate this beautiful aircraft and its liveries downloaded from the manager whenever I want to use it, and better manage the limited space…
Have you tried/found a solution?
Are the cut and paste functions dangerous? Do they leave out files?
Thanks for your help.
Hey there, buddy. I have Fenix 320 and the Iberia library. I install it by default in the Community folder, and then I cut and paste it into my Addons folder to activate it with Addon Linker, which I highly recommend.
I don’t know if this applies to you, but if you don’t have a local Microsoft account, in some cases Microsoft encrypts folders in the Community folder because they’re part of protected folders in the system branch.
Hi, sorry a few more details about the installation
Games are purchased on the Steam platform, which is installed in the default folder (C:)
Games with Steam features are moved to the original Steam folders but on a different drive (G:)
(*) On the C: drive, I have a folder called C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator, approximately 200 GB in size. Below this is the Packages\Community folder, and here are the A320fenix and A320livree folders
The Community folder is G:|Microsoft Flight Simulator/Community/…, under which are aircraft, scenery, tools, etc.
I have a local Microsoft account; the two drives C and G are internal NVMe SSDs
For efficiency, Steam Apps should be on the G: drive, along with the games, including FS2020. (*)
I’m trying to reorganize the space; unfortunately, this isn’t the time to buy new, large SSDs
Thanks for your help.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a situation like this or similar?
How should I proceed before causing damage?
Thanks
