Addon Linker vs MFS Addon Collector

Are they meant to do the same thing? I’ve got experience with Linker but quit using it some time ago as problems loading all my addons at once went away. I ran across MFS Addon Collector and tried it out but it will take many hours to scan my addons and I’m wondering if I really have the right idea and it’s basically does the same thing as Linker.

Any opinions? I tried looking for comparison videos or information and all the info out there seems to be on Addon Linker.

Hi TheBlackWind977
I had a look at it, it’s at the end the same as Addon-Linker only. I use Addon-Linker and for me it works perfect.

I’ve tried the Addon Collector a few times and it’s not for me at all. It doesn’t allow you to organize your addons, it attempts to do it for you and (mostly) succeeds. MSFS Addons Linker gives you full control, you just put your addons in whatever folder structure you want and it links them to your community folder. You can create presets and whatnot. I find it to be the superior tool for addon management by a strong margin.
