I was taking off from KMIA tonight and can report that I saw one of the E-Jets on Xbox Series X. Though the livery wasn’t exactly matched, I am glad to have seen one!

Its not working at all..and even my online traffic is not working…now god only can make this run..

Do those that see these see the model listed as Gen? I assume all are Gen on Xbox?
Seen none at EHAM,KJFK,KMIA or anywhere else I have tried. I have looked at aircraft that are ejets according to traffic data and no luck

I notice you have your traffic aircraft labelled as ‘Airbus’, ‘E190’, etc. I don’t see this. It explains why it works for you and not me, as I see everything as ‘Gen’. Would you mind sharing your exact traffic settings?

Thanks for the post on what you see in the sim. Increasing the ground traffic slider will populate the airports with more E-Jets parked aircraft. Although, you might see some E-Jets that are not region specific messing with that setting. (i.e. Lufthansa in Atlanta)

Do you have Generic Aircraft Models (AI Traffic) turned off in your settings?
To reiterate, the following three settings need to be set under General Options / Traffic within the sim.
-
AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE - REAL-TIME ONLINE
-
GROUND AIRCRAFT DENSITY - 0
(Although you can set this higher to see more E-Jets at your airports, these will not be region specific. i.e. Lufthansa in Atlanta, etc.) -
USE GENERIC AIRCRAFT MODELS (AI TRAFFIC) - OFF

Hello,
After further feedback, we have been made aware by one of our customers that there is no option to turn off Generic Aircraft Models in AI Traffic on the XBOX S | X. We will talk with Asobo / Microsoft about this and why General Options do not match on PC vs. XBOX.
Without the option on XBOX, this could be why some are not seeing aircraft more frequently, as the simulator is still pulling generic models and mixing it with our own when it produces AI Traffic via its engine.
We will address this with Microsoft / Asobo and let you know what we learn from them and if they plan to provide better AI handling or generic aircraft options on the XBOX platform.

Seafront Simulations had an issue where the traffic slider for boats was visible on XBox, it just had no effect. It sounds like this slider is the same too.

Thanks for looking into this, Jeff! Just as a heads up, Aerosoft is dealing with a similar issue with their Simple Traffic product (related to another missing option on Xbox that sets the level of traffic variety). They’ve been unable to get information from MS for over 6 months now, so it may take quite a long time for this to be fixed, unfortunately, especially if it’s related to memory optimizations on Xbox.

Thanks for the feedback and additional information. I have posted on the dev forum about this issue. We will see what they say with their response. Sorry to hear Aerosoft is experiencing issues as well, and they have yet to be resolved. You would think that having the option to turn off the generics would help performance on consoles. Not sure why the option was left off the console version.

Thank you Jeff. Maybe you can put some weight into this. The Aerosoft issue is taking them way to long also. And yes, I believe I would benefit performance as well if we have some options here. I believe it’s locked at 35 on Xbox.

Thanks but still not sure why the screenshot further up shows actual model labels on the Xbox and not just generic? Knowing that is probably the difference between this product working and not.
Ok I finally did see a e175 (and it looked great) but only one in over an hour. I don’t know how or why the Xbox calls everything gen, but it will occasionally match models it seems and if it does AND it’s an eXXX you may see the embraer over the generic.
I will refund this for now but keep tabs on its development.

This does not work on xbox at all. However i will delay me refund request as the dev is on the case and await if this finally can be adressed similar issue with simple traffic on xbox. We also hardly ever see other players planes other than generic default models. Even the stock a320a.This has worsened over time.

I just tested again today at KLAX about an hour ago with live traffic. The plane shows as E190 and it’s parked at the gates. I do see another plane which was labeled as Airbus. However, there are not many e-jets flying at the time I took the screenshot. I am on Xbox series X.

I believe it works, more or less. I just had to wait for a SAS Embraer coming in at Copenhagen Kastrup, including the livery. It was a great experience.
Although, SAS don’t use Embraer’s in their fleet if I’m correct

I have also found E-Jets in the sim, though often the liveries are either duplicated/not matching and the models are predominantly generic. It’s good enough though until we get a resolution to the missing traffic settings on Xbox.
