Aerial Simulations 707-320B Adv + 320C

Howdy, time to finally reveal one of the projects that the team at Aerial Simulations have been working on. The 707!

The external model shown here has been in development for over a year.
It’s still WIP, but close to final form and we feel these renders show the level of accuracy we are aiming for.

The initial release will include two variants: the 707-320B Advanced and the 707-320C.
These models represent the later, improved versions of the 707, featuring increased range and payload capacity compared to earlier variants.

The 707-320B Advanced was a popular passenger variant, while the 707-320C offered a convertible configuration, allowing for quick changes between passenger and cargo layouts.
Both models will be faithfully recreated for MSFS2024, capturing the essence of these historic aircraft.

Looking ahead, there are plans to expand the 707 family in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Additional variants are in the pipeline, aiming to cover the diverse range of 707 models that served airlines and military operators around the world.

We’ll share more info in the coming months.

This is amazing!

Not a plane I personally am interested in but you’ve surely given hope to a lot of people despairing that the only rendition of the 707 for the sim would be one by the “AH, good enough” crew.

Cool. Looks good. But msfs will already have a 707. Is there other projects you’re doing too? And will air force one be a livery available?

Do you have a eta?

I hope this project will not be terminated like ATR by BlackBird when MS released a cheaper ATR variant that still waits for final bug fixes but shadowed the market from the other ATRs.

So only available in MSFS 2024? That’s too bad. I really wanted a B707 and B727 for MSFS 2020. Not interested in MSFS 2024 until they fix all the bugs and server issues in MSFS 2020.

727 Freighter (flightsim-studio.com)
This 727 will be ready in about 6 weeks or less. Freighter first then passenger version.

I wouldn’t hold my breath, and that’s not at all a bitter accusation against Asobo/MS. It’s just product management in a nutshell. They will never fix every bug. It’s a pipe dream in a program like this running on PC especially where every computer is slightly different. FSX still had bugs long after it was retired, even Dovetail couldn’t fix them all when they managed it. FS2024 will also have bugs, some from FS2020 might be fixed because of a difference in software architecture but there’ll likely never be a bug-free flight simulator (or game, or piece of software in general.)

will probably release before AH 707 XD

just joking ahaha

but looking forward to this one!!!

Shut up and take my money

I only wish this 707 would be released for FS2020 as well. Apart from that, it looks amazing, looking forward to seeing videos and such about it after its eventual release if nothing else.

Since it seems that there will be a solid level of compatibility between 2020 and 2024, would this also be available for 2020 once released if it’s simple enough?

Planning on buying 2024 anyway, but preparing for any delays.

Enough with the ‘look what we’re doing’ announcements. Just announce the launch once it’s finished.

Who is this developer and have they done any other airplanes before? Sorry but i’m not buying in on this release announcement ever coming to fruition.

Edit: I see they made the F-117 Nighthawk . I don’t own that product so if anyone does can they share how realistic it is?

I love the “Look what’s coming!” announcements… Keep em coming!

I think it’s wicked exciting to see what will eventually be coming to the sim.

And John Travolta I hope!

While I get the whole point on standing your ground on principle, I expect that a year down the road, when plane or scenery developers are releasing content as only FS2024 because the population is low on 2020 so it would be a work effort and testing effort for a low amount of additional sales, it will be hard to maintain that principle.

So if you are intterested in the plane, stay up to date with its development. It doesnt hurt anything to at least know what is in other simulators.

No it will not be hard to maintain my principle. I am not buying MSFS2024. No ifs ands or buts. I have seen what Asobo/MS have done with 2020. One step forward and 2 steps backwards. For the whole 4 years. And not to mention all the server issues lately. If this plane is only for MSFS 2024 I will use something else. Very simple actually.

Copy that, mate, but don’t let us catch you next year posting anything indicating you are using MSFS2024

Mate don’t you worry…
The moment msfs 2024 comes out, you’ll be the first complaining about the slow bandwidth speeds :joy::joy::joy:
I wonder how you would go back in “for windows” 95…
A game can only be updated x amount of times before progress takes over and you have to move on…
Like msfs 98,00,04 and fsx…
I can’t wait for the latest revolution in flight sim

Back to P3D where there is no development going on there for you. Maybe try X-Plane but there is not much going on there either. Maybe try Aerofly or Infinate flight but I presume many will move on to 2024 with no hesitation as FS2020 is closing in on a declining cycle in front of our eyes.
