FWIW, I haven’t been in the Electra for a LONG time, but I did retrace Amelia Earhart’s RTW trip. I even used OnAir to plan out and fly the entire route which prevents you from being able to “cheat” with the fuel.
At the time I flew it, there was no strip on Howland Island (her last stop that she missed when she disappeared), but I flew there and landed anyway on the dirt. Then I went from there to the nearest island that had fuel (in OnAir) to top off with fuel just to keep it legit. It really was a lot of fun to retrace her flight in this bird!
Also, since I flew this, there are a couple Howland Island strips that have been added on flightsim.to.
