Aerosoft Twin Otter update released today...Content Manager Issue?

The flaps on a twin otter are not fast at all. The sound that you hear when you turn on the power is the hydraulic pump pressurizing an accumulator(I believe). When you select the flaps up or down this built up pressure is what moves them, once it bleeds down to a certain pressure thepump kicks in again.

Whilst we are at it - another thing that struck me is that when I landed I didn’t use reverse thrust, yet I definitely heard reverse thrust sounds - is that part of the balls-up?

Sounds like it may be going into beta range, it shouldn’t do that until you are just going into reverse

One reason for not buying from the marketplace is that most of the files are encrypted and packaged so mods are not possible…

That’s not totally accurate, most of the planes I fly have flight model mods done, TBM930, King-AIR, Embraer Bandeirante plus others…

Tbm and King Air are standard and thus not encrypted, don’t know about the Bandit…

Embraer Bandeirante is purchased from Marketplace in Microsoft…so it has nothing to do with Microsoft, it’s the vendor then… I can understand that. It’s their privilege.

Still no update for the twotter in the marketplace. Hopefully tomorrow as Thursday is usually when the marketplace updates…

We can only hope. OSHA grounded my plane due to excessive noise…lol

I guess I am bit confused, who implements the updates to Market[place? Is it Microsoft or Asobo? I had an issue with a purchase on Marketplace and the Microsoft Xbox help center said I had to contact Asobo, they had no access to Marketplace in MSFS.

Xbox help is not the same as MS Store help.
Each has their own help service.
All addons are from the MSStore (Marketplace)

MSStore help is here:
