straight after landing I turned off the plane and got the pop-up window. FPS rocketed out to 70fps and when I clicked on continue, it remained that range. Strange…

When FPS drops, do you also experience audio crackling/dropouts while panning view around?

I haven’t noticed any issue with the sound, but tbh I rather autolanded the 32nx and got up from the pc as I couldn’t stand the slideshow. I’ll give another look, to answer your question

I didn’t use to have this problem (or maybe it was greatly reduced from what others are seeing) until recently - since update 5 and at the same time a windows update which was supposed to fix the fps drop over time.
Audio stutter occurs and this warns me to start watching fps, the two appear to be related somehow.

I’ve just remembered that after I installed update 5 I also had to turn on caching to reduce pop-up effects. I had never used caching up till then, so maybe this problem has something to do with caching memory not being fully released for repeat usage.

after flying an autopilot for 90 mins frame rates have dropped by about 10 fps. Turned off rolling cache, and rates immediately jumped back up by 10fps.
Further experimentation is required
Yes I have exactly that too, I don’t even understand the aircraft altitude announcements anymore

Got the same issue since v1.18.15.0 - never had any issues before except for massive lagging at big airports (like many already reported as well).
Always playing on ULTRA without any troubles, but since last patch version it starts to lag more and more until it crashes after some hours with critical errors in windows log (unfortunately no further information what exactly happened). Maybe some kind of mem leak, as it gets worse with time. Also tried to lower settings from ULTRA to MEDIUM - did not change anything, so I guess it is not my hardware but the simulator itself…

Also getting this, from Greece to London. All is fine at the start. Solid 60. No issues. 3 hours in the the FPS drops to around 25/40, & refuses to go move. Nothings been touched either. Just I cruise. Only using live weather & no live traffic etc

Hello,
After 8H flight, FPS drop happens to me (from 45 to 6 (10 thru dev mode). The last time, I tried to turn off then on live traffic and that did the trick. Today, live traffic or live weather, on or off, decrease LOD, texture, nothing change. Impossible to start a descent in good condition.
No problems before SU5, i was able to complete 12h+ flights.

i have notice the same thing after 2 hours of flight everytime i turn my cam left to right it lags

I tried it with the 747 without Mod and still the FPS drop appears.

Same experience here too. Relatively short flight from EGNX to EDDH. FPS comfortably at 60 on departure dropping to below 15 on arrival. Problem seems coincident with SU5.
