Is there an AI pilot in MSFS 2024?. I tried a couple discovery flights and couldn’t see how to turn it on like in 2020.

I can’t find it either, nor can I find any information about it. Seems they removed the only feature I liked about 2020.

I used the AI pilot on the Discovery flight just to fly around and sightsee. That was 50% of the sim to me. Bought Aviator and probably going to refund and go back to 2020.

I got a refund because I found out the AI ​​Pilot feature wasn’t working, and I will buy it again when it works again.

Yeah, I just refunded also. Spent $200 on Aviator and I’ll go back to 2020.

Copy fs-base-ingamepanels-flyassistant from msfs 2020 and put it in msfs 2024 official folder.

It worked for me. I wasnt happy when I saw they had taken it out.

I liked the way the Copilot would read the checklist in evaluation mode - seems this feature is also lost. Why would they remove things? That was so immersive.

The fix only works in that it gets the tab to appear and the copilot ATC works, but the actual AI piloting, anti-stall, and trim are broken and can barely get anything off of the runway. At least on all of the planes I tried it with.

Also me asking for the return of autopilot !
It is a must have for everybody loving flights but struggling disabilties …
for me it is the adventure of getting into a new aircraft type without doing a type rating first.
So please vote for this feature :slight_smile:

Thanks. That’s a little more of what I’m looking for. If we got some kind of message about this just about having to cut things out to get it out the door and they will quickly add it back, I might consider buying again later. But for now, I’ll just reinstall MSFS 2020.

btw, where would I find fs-base-ingamepanels-flyassistant if I reinstall 2024?

My planes can take off but it has trouble landing at the destination airport..it is buggy.I’m hoping they will bring it back.I think it’s crazy they got rid of it in the first place.

Does not work for me : I put it in: E:\MSFS2024\Limitless/Content/Packages
The other before and after are as this:
