AIG AI Manager and Traffic Controller for MSFS

thanks think I got it working - after maximising it popped up in my 2nd monitor then I could drag it across to the main monitor…
1)Out of interest what is the best way to see the traffic being generated by AIG is it the map in the controller app or someone also suggested an app called AI companion? (have tried this one but was unaware it could be used to check traffic)
2)Also is it best to manually inject traffic from the controller options or set to auto inject in the controller options?

I generally use little nav map..great freeware addon, shows all aircraft injected.

I load the flightsim then load aig traffic control, set % of traffic then inject manually. I dont have autoinject on.

Thats my personal preference

One thing you can do is get rid of the expedite messages (a bug that’s been reported over and over). This will free up a lot of the over used ATC time by eliminating those messages.

Open the fs-base folder inside your official folder. Find the language file you use (for english it’s “en-US.locPak”). Open that in a text editor and search for “expedite”. Edit the first four lines you find to read:

      "ATCCOM.AGNT_AC_VECTOR_EXPEDITE_CLIMB.0.text": "",
      "ATCCOM.AGNT_AC_VECTOR_EXPEDITE_CLIMB.0.tts": "",
      "ATCCOM.AGNT_AC_VECTOR_EXPEDITE_DESCENT.0.text": "",
      "ATCCOM.AGNT_AC_VECTOR_EXPEDITE_DESCENT.0.tts": "",

That will remove those pesky constant expedite messages (at least until the next msfs update when you have to do it all over again).

or wait for SU9  the issue is fixed there

That is great to know. The expedite bug has been around for a long time and been quite annoying.

FYI, with mine set to 90%, I have many traffic at altitude.

Sorry for the bad pics (and not every model has contrails yet), but plenty in front (3 lights) and behind (contrails and at least one with just lights)

.

Hey, I have a problem with vpilot:
The model could not be loaded, files are missing or corrupt etc.

Yes, the oci folder is in my community folder
And I used modelmatchingmagic which successfully recognised all repaints.

What can I do? Any help?

Where can I find out what the latest version of the controller is I think I’m currently on version 0.5.0.32.

But can’t see where I find out what the latest release is.

Thanks.

That appears to be the latest version based upon the auto-update?

latest version can always be downloaded from our website

Thanks Kaiii3.
Just a thought but it may be handy to have latest version shown on the download page or maybe the file named with it in it?
Until you install I don’t know which is the latest version or to confirm what you currently have is latest.

We do not upload the latest Version to our webserver, it is hosted on AWS and to save time we do not update the website each time. you can see the latest versoin in the forum.

There is an weird AI traffic behaviour I am not sure if it is new. Departing aircraft climb to 4500ft and then sink to 1000ft, then climb to above 5000ft  And they sink/climb on low Vertical Speed

was there before, but at other altitudes…

old issue, it appears like they are leveling the climb and accelerating to a predetermined speed, and then they resume their climb.

1)having some random issues with the AIG traffic - mostly it is working very well and heathrow is full of traffic - however I have had a couple of times when I have loaded it up (everything seems to have loaded correctly and the traffic is showing on the controller traffic map) but visually in the sim am not seeing any planes parked at the gate or taxiing - anyone any ideas what might be causing this or how to solve this?
2)also noticed in my “AI manager” and “traffic controller” install locations each has a resource folder with some database.zip folders - can and should these just be deleted? (read somewhere this might solve some problems)

Restart AIGTC

Yes - tried this and sometimes it works and the traffic loads sometimes there is no change (traffic displaying on the map but not in sim) - only way to make sure is to completely restart the sim.

Could the .zip folders in the resource folder having something to do with the issue or is it completely unrelated?

we have identified some issues during the BETA of SU9 that seems still there. Internally there is a workaround already tested and will be released to AIGTC after some more tests.

could this explain my issue - planes on the maps but not appearing in the sim? assume that AIGTC would be auto updated eventually with this fix? (mine is currently v0.5.0.21)

also would you suggest deleting the database.zip file appearing in my controller resource folder?
